Baxter and Waller set to collide on 205 Live
On a loaded edition of 205 Live, Trey Baxter and Grayson Waller are primed for a high-stakes battle, Sarray will take on Amari Miller in a battle of up-and-coming Superstars, and The Creed Brothers will be in tag team action against local competitors.

Having each competed on the purple brand as well as NXT 2.0, Baxter and Waller have turned some heads early in their WWE tenures, though they both enter Friday’s matchup in desperate need of a win.

Baxter has lost four of his last five singles matches, while Waller recently came up short in his bid to take the NXT Cruiserweight Title from new champion Roderick Strong.

Plus, Sarray ventures to 205 Live for the first time to take on Amari Miller. Both will be seeking yet another statement victory, as “The Warrior of the Sun” claimed the most impressive win of her career when she defeated Mandy Rose in August, and Miller triumphed against Valentina Feroz last week.

Additionally, Brutus and Julius Creed will represent The Diamond Mine when they scrap with a pair of local competitors.

Main event was solid, ending was so sudden tho lmao, women's match was aight too I guess.

Yeah has been since they started taping at the CWC awhile back really. Even more so after those releases gutted the regular roster and they dropped the weight limit. It's legit just like NXT's Sunday night heat lol

Also not sure if there's there's episode tonight. Thought they'd push it back a half hour bc SmackDown but so far no preview on wwe.com

Yeah I saw quite a while back when they had Odyssey on it and then Cora etc so figured it must have been. In all honesty, it's probably not even a bad move to have them on there getting some reps in

It's a great move IMO. The matches aren't great a lot but I like seeing the new folk and a few of the lower card guys like Baxter can go too

A loaded edition of 205 Live that is set to air at a special start time of 10:30/9:30 C will feature NXT Cruiserweight Champion Roderick Strong in action against Odyssey Jones, Jeet Rama making his first appearance on the purple brand against Boa, and Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen taking on a pair of local competitors.

Strong is arguably on the greatest roll of his career ever since linking up with The Diamond Mine, an impressive collection of competitors renowned for their vigorous training regimen and no-nonsense attitude in the ring.

Nevertheless, the NXT Cruiserweight Champion is in for arguably his toughest test since winning the gold when he battles Jones in a non-title bout. Jones made it to the finals of the 2021 NXT Breakout Tournament and has bested the likes of Trey Baxter, Austin Theory and Andre Chase.

Rama, who took AJ Styles to the limit in a memorable barnburner at WWE Superstar Spectacle, will seek a monumental victory when he collides with Boa of Tian Sha. Boa has recently caught fire, having won four of his last five matches entering Friday night’s tilt with Rama.
Plus, the powerful duo of Briggs and Jensen will be in tag team action against two local competitors.
