A thrilling edition of 205 Live is set to feature a trio of hard-hitting singles matches, as Bodhi Hayward and James Drake collide in an exciting main event, Fallon Henley tangles with Lash Legend, and Javier Bernal slugs it out with Draco Anthony.

As the prized pupil of Chase University and with a win over Guru Raaj in his debut match to his name, Bodhi Hayward couldn’t be off to a much better start WWE.

The enthusiastic competitor is in for a physical donnybrook this Friday, however, as he’ll be opposed by Drake, a former NXT UK Tag Team Champion and a veteran of the squared circle who seems all but certain to look down at a Superstar competing in just his second match.

Will Hayward improve to 2-0 and score a big win heading into next week’s Dusty Cup, or will Drake pick up a monumental victory and catapult The Grizzled Young Veterans to success in the tourney?

And in a battle of up-and-comers who have each competed on NXT 2.0 as well as the purple brand, the outspoken Legend meets the fiery Fallon.

Legend is seeking a bounce-back win after narrowly being defeated by Sarray, while Henley is looking to start 2022 with a bang.

Finally, Bernal is primed to make his highly anticipated WWE debut when he locks horns with Anthony, who seeks a critical win after coming up just short against Malik Blade two weeks ago on 205 Live.

New WWE NXT Superstar Javier Bernal was reportedly told to cut his hair.

Tonight’s WWE 205 Live episode will see Bernal make his in-ring debut against Draco Anthony. Real name Randy José Beidelschies, Bernal was signed last year after working the WWE tryouts in Las Vegas. He is a native of Florida, and previously played college football for Macalester College in Minnesota.

Bernal also did some work as a hair model in the past. The new issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that WWE Talent Relations head John Laurinaitis “pretty much ordered” Bernal to get his hair cut.

Laurinaitis reportedly saw Bernal during rehearsals, and told him he should cut his hair. It should be noted that Laurinaitis did say the choice was up to Bernal, but the change was made.

Bernal took to Instagram to hype his debut and commented on the change, writing, “Catch me in action tomorrow night on @peacocktv 10/9c. Change has to happen for success stories to occur. !! [Colombian flag emoji] I swear I’m a nice guy [smiling face with tear emoji]”

Anthony and Gacy to throw down on 205 Live
A thrilling episode of 205 Live is set to feature Draco Anthony and Joe Gacy locking horns in a highly anticipated main event bout, Josh Briggs tangling with Damon Kemp, and Yulisa Leon and Valentina Feroz joining forces against Amari Miller and Lash Legend.

Fresh off scoring his first WWE victory against Javier Bernal last week, Anthony looks to make it two in a row against Gacy.

While some may question his sincerity, Gacy has been preaching a message of inclusivity and acceptance for several months, though he and his monstrous partner Harland recently suffered an upset loss on NXT 2.0 to Edris Enofé and Malik Blade in the Men’s Dusty Classic Quarterfinals. Can Gacy get back on track with a big win against his highflying foe?

Speaking of the Dusty Classic, Briggs also suffered the sting of defeat in the tournament, teaming with Brooks Jensen against The Creed Brothers and coming up short in the quarterfinals.

The hulking Briggs will now look to rebound against the rookie Kemp, who has already tangled with the likes of Cameron Grimes and Andre Chase in some competitive bouts.

Finally, Feroz and Leon, who won their last tandem match against Erica and Yan, will eye similar success against Miller and Legend as both duos gear up for the forthcoming Women’s Dusty Classic. In her first WWE match, Legend defeated Miller on 205 Live, but the two Superstars will now look to bury the hatchet and pick up a big win en route to the tournament.
