Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps developer Moon Studios announced its next game on Thursday at The Game Awards 2023: a “visceral, precision [action role-playing game]” that promises a “mature” and “bold new take on the genre.” It’s called No Rest for the Wicked.
A brief trailer showed a standard-issue but stylish high fantasy setting with glimpses of isometric combat against what appeared to be skeletons and other undead creatures. Beyond that, Moon Studios is pretty quiet about what its next game is, but the developer promises to reveal more in a livestream showcase scheduled for March 1, 2024.
No Rest for the Wicked is coming to Windows PC via Steam, in early access, in the first quarter of 2024. No Rest for the Wicked will also be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X later, publisher Private Division said in an announcement.
