He might be just choosing money over winning but the Texans do keep gettin' better. Still, he did show a complete lack of respect to the Ravens which is something I can't approve of.

The Texans won't win anything with Schaub. Reed should have retired a Raven. That's complete treachery right there.

I guess at least he didn't go to the Steelers. That would have been... war.

Re: NFL 2012/13 Postseason Thread

Man I would have ranted if he went to a division rival.

But yeah since this draft seems to be a deep safety draft or at least that is what I'm hearing they will def draft a few. Wouldn't surprise me if they drafted Tyrann Mathieu and converted him into a safety having him pack on some more weight.

The Colts just like it when anything leaves Baltimore.

How is he choosing money over winning if he's going to what looks like the better team for next year?

Re: NFL 2012/13 Postseason Thread

I mean it's a good signing I guess, but if they had that money why not give it to somebody they let leave?? just a bit of a strange move IMO

Re: NFL 2012/13 Postseason Thread

Cause Dumervil is better than all the guys they let go outside of maybe Reed who of course isn't in his prime any more. Dumervil had 17 sacks in the 3-4 defense as a outside linebacker which is what he is going to do in Baltimore so I like it. Much rather they gave this money to him than Ellerbe who got the same exact deal but imo wasn't worth it.

Re: NFL 2012/13 Postseason Thread

Elvis is older and those 17 sacks came in 2009. Don't expect the same production out of him. Nonetheless it's a good signing and will help the Ravens LB corps that was basically just stolen from them this off season. They still need a middle linebacker, no?

Re: NFL 2012/13 Postseason Thread

Yeah I know but 29 isn't really old and was just pointing that out cause he obviously works best in that kind of system that he is now going to play in. And yeah they are probably going to draft a middle linebacker (Teo isn't looking out of the question)

Re: NFL 2012/13 Postseason Thread

Te'O is defenitely falling fast, but I'm not sure he'll fall all the way to the Ravens but if they only have to move up 5 or 6 spots to get to him it shouldn't cost them a whole lot.... Although as an irish fan, I should tell you that I've watched every game he's played for 4 years and I wouldn't draft him in the first round. He'll play and be a starter in the league but I don't see him being a pro bowl caliber player.

Denver loses one of their better players to the defending champs when they thought they had him signed? Rough. Good signing for Baltimore.

Re: NFL 2012/13 Postseason Thread

Ravens sign Micheal Huff for 3 years 6 million. Pretty nice bargain signing.
