The fat guy last year was useless, but Mike Carlson knows his stuff.

The good thing is the fat guy isn't returning this year. From what i've read the presenters are going to be: Nat Coombs & Mike Carlson.

BBC have got the Monday Night games and not ESPN this year. Hopefully, they have analysts that know what they're talking about. The games are going to be on the Red button & BBC website though.

Random thought after seeing PTI mention McNabb. Why the fuck haven't the Cardinals picked him up? I mean he isn't what he used to be but a hell of a lot better of a choice than Kolb or Skelton.

Because they obviously believe Kevin Kolb is a franchise QB

Been thinking the same thing, especially seeing as he lives in Arizona anyways and his house is on the same street as Ken Whisenhunt. I think they'll have to take a look at him eventually.

I can't see either Kolb or Skelton being the starter for a very long time on that team. It sucks for Fitzgearld, he hasn't had a good QB since Kurt Warner. I'm not saying McNabb will be a good QB or anything, but at this point if i were the Cardinals I'd take anything over what they have at QB.

If not McNabb they should take a shot on Vince Young.

I'm not that sure McNabb could be that much better than Skelton at this point in McNabb's career. And how much would it cost the Cards? If McNabb is more expensive than Skelton, then you just keep Skelton and see where the chips fall.

It's almost a similar situation if you think about it as the Warner situation. Everyone thought Kurt was done then came to the Cardinals and tore it up so I think they need to contact him esp given he is easy to find for them. Fitz deserves a solid QB which is why I say he's the best WR in the league puts up consistent numbers despite having shit QB's minus Warner in his career.

At this rate McNabb could come cheaper than Skelton as McNabb is just trying to get his foot in some door.

So McNabb wants to play? I'd be concerned with his conditioning and competitive edge being out the game this long. He was pretty awful in Minnesota.

Seems like he's keeping himself in good shape staying ready. Like I said he isn't what he used to be but if I was the Cardinals I would at least have him as my backup. They seem way too content with a shitty QB situation.

I don't think they are content at all. It's just that you might as well go with Skelton since he wasn't completely terrible down the stretch last season.

If Skelton fails early, then perhaps it's time to look at other options.

One other thing they need to do is start Ryan Williams over Beanie.

IDK why but i'm pretty pumped for this game, which is weird cause i dislike both team. Or maybe it's because this means this is the start of the season.
