- The Stamford Daily Voice reports that Linda McMahon recently gave a $1 million gift to The Greenwich Hospital in Connecticut through the Vince & Linda McMahon Family Foundation to purchase 3-D mammography machines to help with early breast cancer detection. The machines are located at the Greenwich Hospital Breast Center, within the Smilow Cancer Hospital at Greenwich, as well as the Hospital’s Diagnostic Imaging Center in Stamford.

Pretty good gesture on Linda, but I guess this will be met with conspiracy theories and finger wagging about not spending that money on former employees or saving that money to pay for a released guys contract or something Blue like that.

Kurt Angle confirmed on Jim Ross’ latest Ross Report podcast that his contract with TNA expires on September 21st of this year.

Angle said TNA has offered him a new deal but he hasn’t signed it because his next contract will probably be his last and he wants to consider his options.

Angle added that he thinks he will be able to wrestle again in October.

Everyone who talks shit about him would mark the fuck out and crying tears of joy whiling chanting "you suck".

For those who give a shit, seems to be around for a good chunk of time. think most guys who have paid their dues and made names out of themselves should all have this time of schedule.

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is scheduled for next week’s live RAW in Richmond, Virginia and the SmackDown tapings in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Flair was originally scheduled to work this weekend’s live events in the Northeast but WWE creative has booked him into next week’s TV shows.

NoDQ.com > WWE > Pennsylvania Prisoner Tries to Sue Natalya
Posted by Steve Carrier on 07/09/2014 at 10:45 AM

Christopher Donnelly, a prisoner in the state of Pennsylvania, recently filed a lawsuit against WWE and Natalya. Donnelly actually made a several page hand-written filing and alleged that Natalya is an evil dominatrix that abused him mentally, physically and emotionally from 2005 until 2009.

Donnelly alleged that Natalya aborted his child, beat him numerous times at hotels across the country, used obscenities such as "this is my dungeon, you little bitch!" and other "naughty acts" according to the complaint. The man claimed that Natalya also forced him to prostitute himself. He said he wanted $250,000 in damages for mental and psychological trauma, spelling psychological wrong in the filing. If he didn't receive the $250,000 through the lawsuit, he threatened to take the complaint to higher courts and the media.

On July 7th, a judge in Florida wrote that the filing was filled with delusional language and went on to dismiss the lawsuit on several grounds.

This is my favorite story all week. :lmao

The spirit of the Hart dungeon lives on.

More Observer shit

It’s said that many people within WWE have seen a major ascension from Renee Young lately. With her recent promotion to commentary on WWE Superstars, there’s a feeling that Renee will end up doing commentary for SmackDown and eventually move to RAW.

It was reported several months ago that ESPN was interested in hiring her. Regarding possibly leaving WWE for ESPN, Renee has at least given the impression that she’s staying with WWE and has some time left on her WWE deal.

(Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter)

More Renee, the better. Have her and Regal talk about wrestling holds and stprylines would be infinitely better than what we get nowadays.

WWE recently announced a fining system which didn’t go over well with the talents. Officials are also back to enforcing the dress code with the idea that if talents are anywhere in public, they must dress professionally. A failure to do so will result in a fine.

Officials are also said to be now issuing fines to talents if they are even one minute late to the arenas.

It’s said that a lot of talents are unhappy over money right now, which is always an issue but there’s a feeling that nothing is going to be done or changed.

WWE mailed out quarterly royalty checks this past week and that didn’t help. People who usually received around $70,000 for the first quarter video game royalty check received around $11,700 for the first quarter of this year. This is the same royalties that Mick Foley ranted online about. When second quarter royalty checks were just mailed out, some believed that part of the difference may be made up for in these checks but that wasn’t the case. Most of the top level guys got $1,555 with the most recent checks.

Yeah, the parents always take it out on the kids when shit gets rough.

UFC star Rashad Evans is reportedly interested in a future with WWE and has recently inquired about a possible job with the company.

Evans is currently recovering from major knee surgery and has talked about retiring even before the surgery. Rashad’s name has been mentioned for a number of years as one of the fighters interested in a post-MMA career with WWE.

'Shad looking for a physically demanding job after MMA? Doubt this one wholeheartedly, why leave his cushy spot on Fox Sports One? Bullshit imo.

- Regarding WWE ribbing Vince Russo with The Miz’s fan letter from “Johnny Russo” on this week’s RAW, there is also a WWE writer named Johnny Russo.

And look at that, their speculayshit got them back tracking again....:hm:

Hiring a writer with the last name Russo though, this company has balls.

If he talked with a thick Noo Yoke accent and hated southern rasslin, it would raise red flags.

It was Raven.

Yeah true, but still with all the strict guidlines and generally treating their wrestlers like employees without the benefits, you'd think they had a decent case.

Could have a good case, but wrestlers are not big picture thinkers and generally selfish, most likely this whole case was settled by the company with a few extra royalty checks and that was it.

Judges in the United States are often political appointees and many tend to swing more towards a pro-business stance. It was likely a very uphill battle to begin with as I do believe the general trend was allowing more leeway to businesses when it comes to these cases.

My uncle was working for a few companies doing deliveries. Every one of those jobs were done as an independent contractor. There were uniform, conduct, vehicle guidelines he had to adhere to. It didn't seen any different than any sort of job, other than the business had far more leeway as far as not having to be subject to employment guidelines that generally protect workers.
