Last night on Raw, we witnessed Roman Reigns defeat The Miz to capture the Intercontinental Championship. Fans have been waiting for this to happen for quite some time, since The Shield started feuding with The Miz. But where does Roman and the championship go from here?
Roman stated during a post match interview, that the ‘Intercontinental Championship Open Challenge’ is soon to come, which is something fresh, for that title at-least. But it seems that WWE and Vince McMahon have way bigger plans for the championship and Roman.
It’s being reported that WWE are considering doing a major ‘champion vs champion’ match at WrestleMania where the winner takes all, Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar, the current Universal Champion.
This is a huge addition to the match that has already been planned since Lesnar won the title from Goldberg at WrestleMania 33, it seemed like WWE were happy with the main event a year in advanced, but now it looks like they want to make the prize even bigger for both men, which sounds like an interesting concept.
