I think ultimately they are gonna go Jameer, Gilbert, J-Rich, Turk & Howard as their starting 5. I'll be pretty surprised if they leave Gilbert as a bench player.

Gil said he'd love to be the sixth man and Stan said one of the three will come off of the bench, so I think Gil will stay on the bench and have Jameer/Richardson/Turk/Bass/Howard.

Gilbert is a perfect 6th man. Obviously not for his contract amount, but Gilbert could be a 10x better 6th man then Jamal Crawford, and easily rack in the awards.

That doesn't affect your shooting ability. He's coming off screens and is open, open on fastbreaks, etc. and can't make any of them.

That's what I was thinking too, but idk the man seem to less confident when Nash wasn't playing for whatever reason that may be.
