Most overrated Wrestler

There might be a topic like this somewhere else but I couldn't find it. But who, in your opinion, is the most overrated wrestler in the WWE?

For me, it's Charlotte. She's constantly praised for her matches for her matches with Sasha Banks, but in my opinion, that was Sasha carrying Charlotte most of the time. Look at her against Bayley. Bayley is a great wrestler and an incredibly over face, but she's not at the level yet where she can carry someone to a good match, and look what happened. Bayley had some good spots in their matches, but Charlotte looked terrible, everything she did looked bad and fake, which is why I think she's overrated, and if she wasn't Ric Flair's daughter, she'd be nowhere near the WWE

I'm the opposite and think that Sasha is terrible. Just replace everything you said about Charlotte with Sasha and that's how I feel.

You guys have it all wrong...Bayley is the most overrated of the 4 Horsewomen...
with Becky being the most underrated.

Look I like every women on the WWE roster...even Eva Marie & Dana Brooke...
but the more I see of Bayley...she seems...weak...and somewhat clumsy.

I've never seen Bayley hit anyone hard enough to get a "Cringe Reaction" from
me...say what you want about Charlotte...but the woman is physically the most
impressive specimen on the roster...when she hits...she hits hard and she looks
powerful when she does so.

Bayley just seems to "bump" into people...I never see her really making contact.

This flaw was most noticeable with her encounters with Asuka...who clearly hits
with enough force that I'd buy her smacking some of the male performers around.

Okay...long story short...cause I could go on forever...

Charlotte has the power, the legacy and the grace...
Sasha has the style, the selling skills and the charisma...[HASHTAG]#sashadeservesbetter[/HASHTAG]
Becky has the technique, the passion and the wildness...
And
Bayley...well...Bayley is...a nice person...and she has?
what does Bayley bring to the table again? Oh Yeah...
merchandise...I guess she can sell stuff...great.

Seriously...Bayley has terrible promo skills, a stupidly named
and boring finisher and not enough power and force in her moves.

Again...don't get me wrong...I like Bayley...but realistically...
Paige should have been one of 4 Horsewomen...not Bayley...

When Charlotte debuted along with Becky and Sasha, I wasn't the biggest fan. I thought she was very overrated and put in the position that she is only because she's Ric Flairs daughter. But since then I have grown to appreciate Charlotte and now she's my favorite Female superstar. She is levels above any female in WWE on everything. Ring work, character, on the mic you name it.

Charlotte has earned my respect, but Bayley is not over-rated. She is still capable of putting on good matches with almost everyone (except maybe Dana Brooke, but she is still too green). Her promo style is more because of her being a character who is supposed to be this cheery girl who is happy to be there. She has had some great promos, but yeah she is not a cunning linguist.

Of those five there, I think Paige may be the most over-rated in the sense that since going on the main roster, she had a lot of times where she fell flat and she didn't do as well in NXT. It could be partial because of the booking or that she hasn't had too many amazing people to wrestle until the rest of the NXT girls got called up, but she hasn't done much in a long time and looks to be on her way out of the company because she is getting too caught up in a romance with Alberto and is not thinking right.

Okay her two matches with Sasha in NXT were fantastic...but its Sasha...she can
make anyone look amazing in the ring...which is why Charlotte has looked so
amazing in their (eventually drawn out) feud.

The 2 matches Bayley had against Asuka left her exposed in my opinion...
but it is possible that every other woman on the main roster may have
this same problem...we won't really know until Asuka makes it to the main
roster and eventually fights Charlotte, Becky & Sasha.

Yeah...I understand her "character" (Or what there is of it) but...she
seems to stumble really badly with promos...especially compared to
someone even greener like Alexa Bliss...who may even be better

actually dislike Bayley after watching this.

You are pretty much 100% right...but...Paige just has more
character, better mic skills and is more aggressive in the ring.

I'm going to guess you meant mad and not made...and I personally
think the Becky sprite is the most "kawaii"

This piece is a little dated now...but it still works...even if the
image of AJ Lee scares me...did she really look like that?

When talking about second-generation wrestlers, i always ask the question: Would they have made it to the WWE without being the son or daughter of a legend? In most cases, this is a no, only a very select few could have made it to the WWE without their family, and Charlotte isn't one of those in my opinion. Tell me honestly, would she be wear she is now if it wasn't for Ric Flair?

Look...I will admit that being the daughter of Ric Flair would have helped
open certain doors for her...but...(I believe) that she has done enough
since those "early days" to earn the respect of the fans and her fellow
WWE performers.

I mean...just look at this...

Not that graceful of a landing...but...I bet Bayley can't do that...

I will admit that Charlotte is far from perfect (I'm sorry Charlotte) but she
truly turned a corner in 2016 and she continues to improve as a performer
every week. Now while she has been booked much like the female version
of Roman Reigns...because she is a heel (and actually has charisma)
she has made it work and developed her character accordingly.

Unlike Bayley...who hasn't done anything different or interesting since
she arrived on the main roster and continues to be the same old Bayley
from NXT.

Just my opinion...

I couldn't imagine that Charlotte would have decided to become a wrestler if Ric Flair wasn't her dad, so the question of whether or not she would be where she is now without him is an impossible hypothetical to answer really.

But, if we look at it in such way that she was not the daughter of a wrestler, just a person with her physique and level of talent who decided to become a professional wrestler, I think she would stand a decent chance at wrestling in the WWE. Would she be a 4 time women's champion with an undefeated PPV streak? Unlikely. But that doesn't mean she might not have a good career.

Remember Brooke Hogan in TNA? Yeah, Charlotte is without a doubt better than her, but my point stands

A bit of both, I don't really think she's as good as she's made out to be, not that she's bad, but I think one of the main reasons for that is being Ric's daughter and, as such, been pushed so far
