I think WWE has plenty of people to carry the ball in 2014. Daniel Bryan for one. He only got a cup of coffee in 2013.

I agree with that he has gotten screwed over a shit ton but I think they are setting him up along with a few others to take over here shortly

It disrespects everyone including the belt itself. It's time for new stars to be made. You know that thing WWE said WCW never did.
The surprise is more enthralling than knowing.
With only one title again, they have a huge pool of hungry guys. Programs with Ziggler, Bryan, Punk, Sandow, Reigns, etc... 2014 could be fresh and exciting.
Using the Network logo gives away your surprise...
I forgot that Langston could be a contender this year, too.
I would rather be surprised by his return than knowing ahead of time. It's like watching a horror movie and knowing when the villain was going to jump out or do something. This is the issue and why the one return of Jericho was so great no one really knew for sure and it was amazing. The same goes for people like Hogan in the 80's when he came back from the broken rib to rule ass.

Yeah just as long as they keep them relevant and not continously push the ones we have down our throats with the belt. If they do things like they did with the attitude era where the top guys didn't need the belt all the time it could work really well for them. I would not be surprised if Cena goes on to feud with the Authority soon among others.

They won't. They should have kept his streak going a little longer and then had him lose. He lost all momentum when he lost his first match and couldn't win a PPV match either.

Exactly. The title was always being equally transitioned between different top guys. And generally each year saw some new guys enter that pool.
Plus Austin was able to main event PPV without the belt. John Cena can do the same with a feud with the Authority.
