- Tonight’s WWE SmackDown tapings from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada will have an “Edge Appreciation Night” theme to it as the former World Heavyweight Champion makes his return to WWE TV. Edge will be hosting a special edition of The Cutting Edge at tonight’s tapings with Randy Orton and Mark Henry.
Also confirmed for tonight’s tapings are appearances by Bret Hart and Trish Stratus. Daniel Bryan vs. Sin Cara will also take place on tonight’s show and Henry vs. Orton is being advertised for the live crowd.
WWE will also tape Week 28 of the current NXT season tonight in Toronto. William Regal and Matt Striker vs. JTG and Darren Young is expected to take place on tonight’s show.
