Maria Kanellis to debut for ROH at Final Battle

Former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis will be making her debut for Ring of Honor on December 23rd.

Kanellis will be accompanying real-life boyfriend Mike Bennett to the ring for his match with Jay Lethal.

The former Playboy covergirl and Celebrity Apprentice star has been seen in the audience at various ROH events supporting her boyfriend, but this will mark her first appearance on camera.

Maria’s debut takes place at the Final Battle iPPV which emanates from the Hammerstein Ballroom.

Since being released by WWE in February 2010, Maria hasn’t really done much in wrestling, however, she is due to make an in-ring comeback next year for New York-based FWE against TNA’s Tara.

She's been at the shows many times before so it makes sense for her to accompany Bennett to the ring with 'Brutal' Bob, since she's dating Bennett.

The article doesn't mention anything about it being a full-time thing, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was. And I think Bennett's going to win the TV title from Lethal now.

Now this is one former WWE star that I never thought would show up in ROH. Makes sense though since they are dating and I guess she does have some name recognition from her work in WWE. At least she is just walking him to the ring and not getting in the ring herself.
