I hate any storyline that involves a felony. Wrestlers apparently dont abide by the same laws as the rest of society.

What the fuck does that have to do with a car accident?

That would be like me saying: What, they're doing a storyline where Cena bashes JBL's car with a bat? Didn't Triple H already pedigree Randy Orton?

Anyways, if it leads to Christians return, I don't mind at all.
Hell, if gay porn led to Christians return, I wouldn't mind...

You didn't get it...

I was making the spouse/fiancee/girlfriend getting hurt in the angle connection. Shawn Michaels' wife got hurt, and if Jeff's fiancee gets hurt, wouldn't that be just recycling an already used angle (sort of)? I understand they have to recycle angles sometimes..

^Not really recycling though, because there are key differences
1-Jericho did it by accident, if this happens, Christian would've done it on purpost
2-Everyone was aware Jericho did it. This one, if it happens, would have them not knowing, and sort of a "who did it" storyline
3-This would lead to a return, and be a shock, whereas Jericho was already in wwe, and obviously no shock, because everyone saw him do it.
4-I would assume this would have further long term injuries as well, and play out longer than the very quick stint of the Y2J punch.

I actually see it as them recycling the "hit and run" storyline more than they are recycling the "girlfriend being hurt" storyline.
I do see where you are coming from now though, more than in your first post.

Great One

Yeah... this would be more like the Austin storyline, not the HBK/Jericho.

I don't think they'll use it...Us smarks are wise to it, which leads me to believe they'll bring Christian in some other way.

That's never stopped them before. I just started going on websites with spoilers/forums in the middle of summer, so I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure there has been sites with spoilers for years, so people have been knowing behind the scene news for a while.

But I think it would have been better for them to make it a surprise for Christian to come back, because he has his loyal fan base that will heer him no matter what when he returns. How would that look with somebody who beat the shit out of the face of WWE and does a hit and run on him with his fiance in the car too and her getting hurt bad, come in and get cheered?

It'd be interesting to see if Hardy sells as good as his last injury storyline, where he got the shit beat out of him, knocked on unconscious and not cleared to wrestle, only to still come out going extreme on everyone without a limping, holding his head, nothing. And if Christian does go into an immediate feud with Hardy, I think it would mean that Hardy will lose his title and not get it back for a while because before when Christian was in the E, Vince wasn't very high on him, and he brought him back because he saw his draw and what he did in TNA, so I'd doubt that he'd come back and go straight into a World title feud.
