It just says that I will show up as mafia once when investigated and considering the town alignment, I think mafia is just the mafia alignment.

Also yeah, its 1 shot for some reason. It doesn't say 1 shot miller in the name but reading the role description a bit more it clearly says that its supposed to be 1 shot.

I've never heard of anyone being told they are miller - can someone who has played more games, say if this has even taken place before on WS or WC games? From my experience - the miller doesn't even know they are miller till post-death

the miller is pretty much always informed they are the miller in our games
