Yea. From their main roster debut to when they won their 14th. Not to many people to even look at either as not many made it to 14
I mean there’s only a handful of people with 14 overall. Unless you wanna go back and look up Jerry Lawler in Memphis or whatever. So nobody is touching her in that aspect.

But Cena and Orton aren’t THAT far behind considering they didn’t win their first respective World Championships til years into their run

I guess it depends how you look at it. Me I go by debut. You I guess by the time they won their first. Both are kind of bad in their own way.

WCW played hot potato with their belts all the time during the last few years of their existence.

Especially the tag belts. Those were changing hands at least twice a month.

I think at one point in 99, the belts went from Hennig/Windham, to Benoit/Malenko, to Raven/Saturn, to Mysterio/Kidman and then someone else inbetween in the span of 3 months.

I’m saying even if you count by the debut…

Cena debut in 02…you said he said 8 by 2010?

Orton debuted in 02 as well. He probably had 5/6 because he had a spell where he didn’t win the belt for years.

Considering when they won the belt as opposed, weren’t they on the same pace/trajectory?

From the moment both won their first, yeah.

Nah, this was spring of 99, during Saturn's "dress" gimmick. The Flock ended in the summer of 98. This was actually the short lived Raven face turn before he left WCW.

Because after Raven left, Benoit ended up teaming with Saturn and then THEY won the tag belts.

This is definitely the time period where I only watched Nitro when Raw was on commercial cause I damn sure don’t remember a Raven face turn.

Although o do remember Perry Saturn in a dress

They were feuding with the Horsemen who just turned heel after a month of being a face, lol. I think there was a match where Raven needed a partner, and Saturn stepped up.

So I think it’s fair to say, injuries aside because you can make an argument that either Orton over Cena would’ve surpassed Ric if they don’t get injured. And Charlotte has never worried about that besides getting worked down and getting married, they would’ve passed Ric a while ago.

I always thought it was gonna be Orton. He just seemed to have more longevity than Cena until this back injury.

Like I said, the WCW tag title scene at that time was a giant clusterfuck. There was literaly no stablity.

Russo was still booking, wasn’t he?
