The Hogan thing so pointless because he didn’t actually win the WWE Championship until a year and change ago. The belt that record actually belongs to. He’s already been the longest reigning universal champion for ages.

He won’t legitimately pass Hogan in the record books for like 960 days or something.

No one wants to acknowledge this and how fake this record is

If Cody story isn't Mania specific.....he could do Summerslam......Roman would go over Hogan, and we can make the big 4 PLEs a Mania klevel event.

I’ll take SummerSlam over nothing, but mania was absolutely the story. He was supposed to get the torch at the biggest show of the year.

I have 3 theories:
1. Cody changes his mind and tells Roman he wants him at Elimination Chamber, that if he thinks Rock is going to steal his story he's mistaken, then we get Rock/Roman at Mania nontitle while Cody defends against the winner of the Chamber.

2. Cody changes his mind, tells Rock that he's not going to steal his moment and makes it Roman/Rock/Cody.

3. He accepts Rollins' challenge.

Cody will set up a match against roman at summerslam just for hogan to come out "that doesn't work for me brother" and hogan vs. roman at summerslam

So, Roman's probably going to have a whole three matches between WrestleMania and next year's WrestleMania. There's very few people he hasn't already faced, so let's see, Bash at Berlin he's going to face Gunther and bury him, then Solo is going to turn babyface and Roman will bury him, and lastly maybe Bron Breakker or maybe Okada signs with WWE and Roman buries him, all leading up to next year's Mania when CM Punk gets the fans hopes up, only to be buried as well.
