Attitude Era for the time was what sold, it was definitely over and a wild time. Lot of that probably wouldn’t get over today, but that doesn’t matter because the 90s and now are different times. Stuff that gets over today wouldn’t have in the 90s either.

It was literally just an era where ANYTHING could happen. Any fucking weird over the top depraved thing you could think of was on the table. And people ate it up. It allowed the audience to be heinous without actually being heinous.
