Even with two Big E vs. Bobby Lashley WWE Championship matches starting and ending the show, the second in a steel cage, Raw fell slightly last night to 1.71 million viewers and 0.48 in 18-49.

Viewers were down five percent, while 18-49 was down two percent and 18-34 was down 16 percent.

The Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles game aired on both ESPN and ESPN2, doing a combined 14.47 million viewers and 4.84 in 18-49 and 3.49 in 18-34.

It was the normal pattern and even promising the cage match from early in the show, the first-to-third hour drop of 12 percent was larger than it has been most weeks. Previously cage matches of late have been successful in keeping viewers.

In addition, the drop came the day after the Extreme Rules PPV. The NFL game was up eight percent from last week so that was also part of the decline in Raw.

Raw was listed as seventh in 18-49, but actually sixth because of the game itself being on two stations and listed twice. It beat everything but football-related programming as the kickoff show, post-game show, countdown show, and SportsCenter after the game were the other programs that beat Raw.

For total viewers, Raw was 14th, behind only football-related shows and news programs.

Raw was sixth in women 18-49, sixth in men 18-49, sixth in 18-34, sixth in women 12-34, and sixth in men 12-34.

As compared to last year, which was a show that was boosted by Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Christian, and Big Show being brought back, Raw was down seven percent in viewers, down 13 percent in 18-49, and down 21 percent in 18-34.

The first-to-third hour drops were 13 percent in women 18-49, five percent in men 18-49, an 18 percent increase in girls 12-17, an 11 percent decrease in boys 12-17, and a 13 percent drop in over 50.

Dancing with the Stars on ABC with The Miz did 4.88 million viewers and 0.72 in 18-49, placing it third in 18-49 among network shows and sixth in total viewers.

Raw's three hours were:
  • 8 p.m. 1.82 million viewers
  • 9 p.m. 1.71 million viewers
  • 10 p.m. 1.60 million viewers
