Congrats to Big E. One of the only guys who I don't think anyone can honestly be upset about getting this spot. WWE was wise to pull this now, putting the belt on one of the most universally beloved wrestlers in the world to earn them some much needed goodwill.

So I decided to break my rule for this one time only. I watched the main event of Raw. Orton vs Bobby Lashley was a solid match. They played their 14 year thing up well. Set up Big E Cash In well. Got the crowd to get into the feelings and emotions of the big angle. Big E is now the WWE Champion and I am proud of him. One of my favorite dudes from NXT had to pay his dues and it payed off big time. I am happy for him and tonight Vince made a new star.

Oh man, I'm just sat in bed lurking things and everybody was going crazy on Reddit and Twitter. Kinda obvious what had happened. I ended up getting it spoiled for me, but the clip and pop of him winning was awesome. So I'm not mad about it.

Congratulations to Big E. Very well deserved and the best member of New Day for me. I hope he gets a lengthy reign and is taken as a serious holder. Good potential. Not enough for me to want to watch RAW, but I'm at least a little intrigued here as I lay at nearly 5am watching this clip of him winning it.

Nice to see WWE do something well and not fuck about with his cash-in. Good stuff.
