Oh, there’s definitely a butt hurt energy there as well for sure. But I think he’s using that to also speak how he really feels as far as like the talent that he’s pursuing. That he wants people that genuinely want to grind for the machine.

I will even add that TK can be an ass like this too - I like tongue in cheek jabs and fun ribbing. I feel however you can put your own company over and put your workers as the best and hardest working in the industry without implying that people who chose another path are essentially lazy or shit. And that goes for all companies

This is how I feel, it’s how he saw it going down in his day when he was an active member of the roster so it’s fair to see why he would feel that way about today’s roster.
like I would have said something like "That's what it takes to be a wwe superstar. Nobody works harder than our athletes and that's why we're the best in the industry and the most successful. Nobody takes days off here" - easy stuff
Even though just as a viewer, I think Hunter far succeeds Vince when it comes to creative, I do think he’s ingrained a lot of Vince’s business stuff so he’s of the mindset that if you got let go it was your fault, but we want you to go out there on the Indies and make a big splash for yourself and if you’ve earned it, we’ll let you come back.
What’s funny is he doesn’t even have to push Nak because nobody is happier to just be in the mid and get paid when he’s getting paid than him but the problem is is that AEW started paying WWE money so that’s not really an incentive anymore

Fwiw I don't really care what shit he talks about AEW, he can bury them all day long and bonus points if it's actually funny. It's ridiculous to me that this is now two WWE people going on interviews this week talking about how talent making more money has these negatives. Very obvious narrative that's trying to be put out to me and it's not "AEW sucks," that would be much less harmful
If Tony puts in a decent enough press, I could see him going to AEW but I would be pretty confident saying that I don’t think Nak isn’t leaving the states again, but he loves his Florida home.
