Saw this yesterday, it’s super cute, funny, campy, sweet, and charming. Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse are great together, and the movie has a great 80s vibe.
The 80's setting and vibes in this film were so good. Absolutely spot on. It doesn't take itself too seriously and just has a lot of fun with its premise. The choice to cast Kathryn Newton for this role was perfect. She's just really believable as an 80's teenager and is really able to pull off the various whacky outfit choices and hair styles her character has. The costumes in this film were great and it was a massive highlight for me. Great job there. I really enjoyed Newton's chemistry with Cole Sprouse a lot. It's paced wonderfully well and had me thoroughly entertained the entire way through. Great music too!
