Michael B. Jordan is a great actor so I'm not sure how he fucked up Johnny so much. The last scene where he says the team name should be "three friends and the thing that nobody wanted" is so wrong in the portrayal because he says it with such meanness in his voice. Johnny and Ben are always jabbing at each other but it's good natured, nothing like the way that came across. It really bugged me, although it was hardly the worst thing in the movie.

I am wondering, Marvel or not, if they could even pull off an FF movie. I think they would do well in the MCU as role players in an Avengers movie, but not as a solo act. Although I did like the 2005 FF movie. Silver Surfer was OK.

So would you guys cast?

I'd have to think on the main cast a little but Mads Mikkelsen would be the perfect Doctor Doom.

I actually liked both the mid-2000's FF movies. I mean, they weren't great but I'd watch either of them over Batman V Superman. Chiklis was great as Ben and Evans played a solid Johnny, although he's clearly gone on to even better things as Cap.

Heard they would actually be crossing them into the Guardians world. I liked the mid 2000s first one too. Johnny Blaze/Human Torch is someone that could def be more useful in other movies too.

Dylan Sprayberry - Mr. Fantastic
AnnaSophia Robb - Susan Storm
Cody Christian - Johnny Storm

I don't really know who I would get to play Ben. He is a tough one to cast for. Especially when trying to keep it at a younger age so they could grow with the franchise.

I too enjoyed the mid 2000 movies. Silver Surfer not as much but they were pretty good.

Sadly, Fox will never give them up. They want to try to cross them in, but it is just James Gunn the director saying he would love to use a couple of them.

Fox have completely ruined F4 on screen. The last one was atrocious and made the first two look good. Marvel certainly can't do worse.

Star-Lord, Thor, and Scarlet Witch have been "confirmed" but I'm sure all the heroes that we've been introduced to will be in it but the Russo a Brothers explicitly stated those 3 so far.

I can only imagine the battle of jokes between Iron Man and Starlord. Man I might faint when I see all those heroes together trying to take down Thanos. They will try!

Rumor becomes reality as Netflix confirmed The Punisher is getting his own tv series. Obviously Jon Bernthal is reprising his role. Can't wait to see what they do here. Also in Netflix/Marvel news, Iron Fist has begun filming so we can breathe that the show is obviously in no danger as some websites claim.

Captain America Civil War opened in 63 countries over a 3 day period and grosses a cool 84 million from that period. It opens in the US on Friday.

*sighs*

was supposed to go see it Friday but have been ill since Thursday night. It's killing me a wee bit on the inside. If I'm better I'll be seeing it tomorrow, but no guarantees.
