Lawler Injured

Jerry Lawler will miss next Monday's Raw taping due to the Mark Henry angle on Raw this past Monday, but is actually OK. Lawler was in pain after the spot where he was put through a table that wasn't properly gimmicked to break, so he was taken to the local hospital. Lawler was given a clean bill of health but will sell the injury for a week or so.

Very badly done by the production team to not actually gimmick the table. Henry isn't to blame at all and no wonder everyone was angry at production this week. Good to read that Lawler is okay and in the end WWE will simply be able to push Henry even stronger by having Lawler take the week off.

Henry's a gentle man outside of the ring, glad he was pissed off and cares about Lawler. Doubt Orton would have cared.

Speaking from the wrestler's perspective, its always a very frustrating thing when the person you're working with gets injured. Especially if its something trivial that could've been avoided by just the slightest bit more preparation. Taker, Show, Kane, Henry, Edge, all of them had great concern for the well being of the person they worked with. Hell I remember back when Jericho went for a lionsault and Kane blatantly moved in the way to make sure he didn't get hurt. You can tell by the way a person works a match just how concerned for their fellow workers they are.

It makes me happy to know how much Mizark is frustrated over this situation.
