Just like the title says - I will be rating every NJPW event [that I am able to watch] and I will do so on this thread.
I will gives marks 0/10 for each match - and then an average rating for a whole show.​

All the Ratings so far I'm yup yup with. I might need to rewatch Last Year's 2 Day WK because I remember really loving Ibushi vs Okada and Ibushi looking freaking great in a losing effort. I'm glad a Year later it worked out for him because I had enough of NJPW keeping Kota at the same spot forever and never giving him a bone.

Specific thoughts on White/Ibushi? I'd actually rank it above Cobb/Shingo even though I think it was about 10 minutes too long

The length was too long - without actually having the spots for it too make sense. I had both the Ibushi matches in my hand as being just under a 9/10 - like just lacking that something special. With that something special very much what I saw in the Okada match - which has to be the match of the PPV. I just personally felt that the Cobb/Shingo match - was just in-between both matches in terms of quality and telling the story. Also there is less than 0.5 between all three matches, so its very marginal.

I agree Ibusbi/Naito lacked that "big match special feeling" that I can't really put into words either but the Jay White match is actually one of the few I've had complaints about the length but still rate high despite it. No idea why they wanted it to be the record so bad bc it really could been a classic without going for that

Cobbs match was class, man is a machine don't know why he hasn't been signed to aew or wwe, he has it all, look charisma and can can go in the ring, just stick a valet with him and he would be ready to go.
