In the past, a John Cena heel turn did not seem likely at all, and it was simply an Internet Wrestling Community fantasy. Management seems to be teasing a heel turn for Cena a lot more now though, and it seems legitimate. Have a read of this article: http://www.thewrestlingcafe.com/wwe-turning-john-cena-heel.php

How, and when should it be done? Your thoughts?

it can happen. It's called turning on Ryder for stealing all his fans, envious that Ryder gets cheers over him even though Cena's the one who helped Ryder get to where he is. Could be being built up. Then Rock returns to save Ryder from a Cena beat down later on.
