Joey Ryan wrote the following on his Twitter account:
"What a joke. @IMPACTWRESTLING is pathetic. I'm not good enough for your company? C'mon @TNADixie really? You make me laugh! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Don't bring me in just for your NO agenda. It's not my fault that Flair went into business for himself so why am I being punished?! Pritchard, @TheRealAlSnow & @OfficialTaz know that a NO is ridiculous. They know I'm money. I dare Tazz to say something to my face now. Somebody tell Johnny Ace he can reach me at joeyryan@hotmail.com - I know he's not stupid enough to turn down money."

Joey Ryan was the latest participant in the Gutcheck segment on Impact Wrestling. He had his match two weeks ago and then on the Live Impact this week the judges made their decision on whether he should be hired or not. In the end they voted no and he wasn't given a TNA deal.

Did you think that Joey Ryan should have been hired by TNA? What do you think his next move will be, will he remain in the indies or do you think WWE will take a chance on him?

Love Joey Ryan flipping out on Twitter. Absolutely agree, I hope WWE picks him up... Especially with the Cruiserweight div, he'd be so suited there. He has a gimmick that gets him over easily and he'd be a key factor if he goes to WWE. Just think about the wrestlers they can push when the big stars go.

However he is 32...

Age is the only thing that hurts him, but that doesn't excuse the fact that he was 10x better than Alex Silva was, yet Alex Silva got the contract with a sympathy promo. Joey Ryan stays in character and is criticized for it and ultimately not given the contract. It was bullshit. This whole Gut Check thing is a joke, they're not even interested in if they can wrestle it seems, just if that one promo is good. Joey was criticized for not having a a believable character? Really, TNA, the same company with Black Reign, Suicide, and Shark Boy?

Dear Wrestling God's, please let WWE take Joey Ryan, so he can be properly utilized, or at least used hella better than what TNA did.

Rewatched the segment again, and I have to say, TNA's first live show (since 2010 at least) almost ended in a murder. Taz looked like he was about to fucking snap.

I don't think that his age should count against him too much, he is 32 and could realistically wrestle until he is forty or even past that. Barring injury he should easily be okay for another five years which is a very long time in wrestling. If he was 42 then I would agree that he would be pushing it to get a shot.

He's one of a handful of indy workers who isn't a bland vanilla midget.

He has "it".

Just hope WWE takes a shot but doesn't lame him off like they did with Cabana.

Decent promo was that actually, although the guy has a very high opinion on himself. He may be main event money in TNA, but I wouldn't say he was WWE main event money though. Could definitley be a hand in the midcard though.

Do people think that Joey Ryan will be brought back into TNA to take advantage of this storyline? They seem to be setting it up so that there is a chance that he may have another match.
