Jey Uso comments on WrestleMania match vs Jimmy

Jey: I just said this to someone - I kind of feel like we did let the people down.

Jey: Yeah, man, because I wanted to go out there and have a straight-up banger too. I wanted to do the wrestling part, but let alone make sure the emotion part is there.
It was just a time issue, uce. You know what I'm saying? You just got to play your position on the team. That’s what happened. I'm still happy though, uce. I got a singles match on WrestleMania with my brother - that’s the big picture. So I'm going to always have me and him in the faceoff at WrestleMania. I’m going to frame a picture. It’s marked off our box. I just wish we could have went ham the way I know we can.

Gonna disagree, no idea what the actual time was that they were given but coming out of that match I never thought to myself that time was an issue.

respectfully don't think more time would have changed much of the moveset used. Perhaps some psychology would have helped or a more well built feud to get to the match, however, I think the main issue is their moveset has not evolved as single competitors.

I think it's more the match they wanted to do required more time but it's not the company's fault for not giving it, they should have adjusted and realized they weren't getting the 30 minute monologuing story match and not tried to fit it in

They got 11 minutes. Sami Zayn vs GUNTHER did 15 and look at the emotion they managed to squeeze into it.

Doesn't help that Jimmy uso wasn't perceived as a threat at all.

I like his positive outlook on it though that even though it was disappointing, he’s still happy he got to have a WrestleMania match with his brother.

Plus, I think their spot in the main event the next night kind of made up for it, at least for me it did.

I wouldn't mind them giving another go maybe a street fight.

Wouldn't mind Jey beating Priest either and for Drew to beat Jey that story is more fitting.
