It now appears that Chris Jericho’s return to WWE is imminent and could perhaps occur as early as this Sunday at WWE’s No Mercy pay-per-view. While nothing is 100%, there is most certainly going to be something big happen at No Mercy due to all of the mystery links to the save_us.222 video on the main pay-per-view page on the official WWE web site.

Jericho’s return to WWE makes sense and will be the biggest stage where he will be able to promote his new book. Returning on RAW makes Jericho vulnerable to being fed to Triple H; however, he will still be seen as a major star on the brand. Jericho could go to TNA and have a possible World Title run there, but they are losing momentum going into their two-hour debut episode of Impact and he will certainly be seen by more on WWE programming. With Jericho returning to WWE it certainly says a lot about what he thinks about TNA as he lives five minutes from the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida and has young children that he wants to be around to see grow up.

It should be noted that Jericho is scheduled for numerous radio interviews throughout the month of October, perhaps indicating that his return could be pushed back to WWE’s Cyber Sunday pay-per-view later this month. While nothing is set in stone, it is very likely he is coming back to WWE.

Ok, I have seen rumors that could be real, but this one felt fake like hell.

This 'report' said

- Jericho could still go to TNA, but is likely to go to WWE ...
- Could debut for WWE at No Mercy ... which is only 3 DAYS AWAY.

I'm sure if he was going to appear at No Mercy, he would've signed by now.

What a waste of space this report was.

Another update!
wrestlezone.com

It is now believed that Chris Jericho has signed a new contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. The news leaked through TNA sources who said that they were negotiating with the former Undisputed Champion before they learned that Jericho decided to return to WWE.

With the recent injury to who is now the former WWE Champion John Cena, Chris Jericho’s return could not come at a better time. Despite his absence from the wrestling business, Jericho will return as a top-tier main event caliber talent that can immediately help the RAW brand.

The “Save_US.222” viral marketing campaign videos began airing about two weeks ago, the same time at which Jericho backed away from negotiations with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.

What a moment it would be if Orton came out at No Mercy expecting to be handed the title then Jericho's music hits. Let the good times roll!!

Monkeystyle is right, 90% of these Reports are usually fake. Wrestling Observer, Wrestlezone and PWI are the only ones to trust. Don't listen to some F4Wonline or Whatever it is,

Wrestlezone is BS for the most part. They take news from other sites and add their own spin on the news. Wrestling Observer and PWinsider are the most reliable news site (PW more than WO).

THE LATEST ON CHRIS JERICHO AND WWE
by Mike Johnson @ 10:54:57 AM on 10/4/2007

Since everyone has been asking non-stop about this, it is believed that Chris Jericho has indeed signed a new deal with World Wrestling Entertainment. Sources within TNA, who were in negotiations with Jericho hoping to bring him on board, have confirmed they've learned that Jericho opted to return to WWE, where he held the Undisputed WWF championship for several months and headlined Wrestlemania X8 against Triple H in Toronto.

Jericho departed WWE following a Summerslam 2005 loss to then-WWE champion John Cena, citing mental burnout. Stating that he was no longer challenged by the business, Jericho said he was taking time to step away and work on new ventures. A statement posted on his official website in August 2005 featured Jericho's promise that if and when he returned to wrestling, it would be as part of WWE, equating them to a mafia family that you never really leave.

During Jericho's time away from the business, he penned an autobiography titled "A Lion's Tale" which will be released on 10/25, and has received several positive advance reviews. He hosted a satellite radio show, headlined a play in Canada, appeared briefly on the Fox "Celebrity Duets" reality series, was a semi-regular for the Groundlings improvisational troupe in California and appeared on several VH-1 panel shows discussing music and pop culture.

Given the injury to WWE champion John Cena, Jericho's return is an influx of fresh, top-tier talent that the company can use at just the right time. Since the "SaveUs_222" viral campaign is being built towards a big surprise, it should be noted those videos began about two weeks back, the same time period Jericho backed away from negotiations with TNA, according to sources.
