Jacob Fatu Signed?

It’s WrestleMania weekend, and there are plenty of wrestlers in Philadelphia for the festivities.

One talent in GCW's schedule is Jacob Fatu, formerly of MLW. Fatu completed his final date for MLW back in February with MLW SuperFight, and now his next destination may be known.

Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan and Sean Ross Sapp both report that Fatu has told others that he has signed with the promotion as of this past Wednesday, which lead to him being pulled from a scheduled GCW appearance on Saturday.

When Sapp asked people within WWE, they wouldn't confirm the news. Several in GCW were discussing the rumors backstage on Saturday. Those that Brennan spoke to within NXT have not heard this as of yet.

Fatu is the cousin of The Usos, Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns of The Bloodline, with a possible WWE debut being speculated by fans throughout his run on the independent circuit.

We've reached out to Fatu himself, but didn't get a response as of yet.

I think Fatou should debut on raw and be Cody‘s first program after winning the belt.

What a way to set someone up as a star immediately.

Fatu is a damn amazing talent to watch he's doing things with ease that guys at his size aren't able to do. I don't want that Man to get no where near the Cody vs Roman 2 Match tonight but him getting involved the next night would be perfect for him.

great pickup and WWE should be able to keep him in line and won't think twice of cutting him if he fucks around. good fit and will give wwe fans more violent hoss matches.

A new Bloodline. Roman loses the title and is ex-communicated by Rock and Heyman. This whole story arc is for Roman Reigns to come out as a bigger babyface than he ever was previously

I think Roman wants to stay with Heyman so he would need to be booted out too.

I don't know people would treat Jacob Fatu as a big enough name for Cody from jump street......even Umaga needed until the Rumnle to be viewed as a threat to Cena and he debuted right after a Mania.

Wouldn’t mind Gunther, but I have a feeling the lingering remnants of the bloodline will still be the focus for Cody’s first bit as champion.

I also think there’s a strap match with Rock in the future.

Fine. But you run with Solo, Jimmy, Jacob. Rock pops in when he needs to.

This is all leading to 41 next year.

The “Final Boss” moniker isn’t for Cody Rhodes. It’s for Roman Reigns.

Brock was always treated as the big bad of Roman’s story. No…it’s Rock. He needs to beat Rock to really be the Head of The Table
