It is the collision the entire wrestling world has been waiting for for a long time. To be exact, since August 12th, 2014, when it was first announced that Kevin had been signed to a WWE contract. And that wait will soon be coming to an end. On March 12th at Madison Square Garden, Kevin Owens will finally be granted his wish and step in the ring and face off with the one, the only, The Beast, Brock Lesnar.

Too bad it isn't at a PPV or RAW.

Eh I'm sure Kevin wanted this at mania or summerslam. Not at an in house show.

Lesnar is probably booked to squash him to begin his building up again. I wouldn't want to see that on tv lol

So...one of the only matches I want to see Brock Lesnar
actually "wrestle" is at a fucking house show?

Fuck You WWE...

I know why its not on TV...because Owens would expose
Brock for the overrated, drug cheating, part timer he really is.

KO vs Bork sounds awesome, too bad it's going to be a squash match, though.

The Garden is no joke. House show or not, every wrestling show there is a big deal.
Yeah...No...it isn't...because the entire WWE Universe doesn't get to see it
and its not part of the story WWE is currently telling.

House shows don't count and frankly...they should not exist.

That way the WWE performers wouldn't get worn out and injured so much
and perhaps the performances on RAW/SmackDown/205 Live and PPVs
would improve.

If I am not mistaken, the house show gates go a long way towards paying the wrestlers' salaries. They also serve as a method of practicing certain things that happen in the pay per view matches.

I know a lot of people complain about the scheduling, but when a wrestler signs with WWE, he or she is likely completely aware of how much he or she will be working and traveling for the most part. If they agree to it, they agree to it. If they don't want to work house shows, then they can sign with TNA or something.

Personally I like house shows and definitely think they should continue to exist.

Yeah, saying "fuck house shows" is basically saying "fuck these guys getting paid".

Also Warmachine is correct. WWE are literally the only wrestling company allowed in the Garden. The NWA were not allowed there, not even WCW during the peak of the attitude era was allowed in the garden. Only the WWE.

They only run the building once or twice a year, so even when it is a house show. It's a big fucking deal.

I mean it is Madison Square Garden. Basically the Vatican for Pro wrestling.

*Thinks*

I...well...you make some valid points...

I just think the WWE works their performers too hard...

I did not know how important house shows were for the performers getting paid...excuse me for my lack of knowledge...
They only run the building once or twice a year, so even when it is a house show. It's a big fucking deal.
Then televise it...
I mean it is Madison Square Garden. Basically the Vatican for Pro wrestling.
I'm not touching that one...

If you televise (or even film) an event at MSG, you are forced to hire a certain number of workers at a certain pay rate. If you want to show moving images on a screen, you can't just bring in your own team, you have to hire their AV team for a ridiculous amount. You have to pay their lighting/camera/sound people (even if you don't use them). Anytime you see a concert from MSG, it's a vanity project where the artist (at best) barely broke even.
