Steel Cage Match for the TNA Championship? I can down with that.

If TNA at least had a clue as to what was best, Bully Ray is going to kill Sabin and take back his title.

No not really. I enjoy him as champion. He deserves it

Zod's point was that Sabin is too small to be a HEAVYWEIGHT Champion, I believe.

I actually like this Hulk promo. He's actually really enjoyable when his friends and family and shit aren't dragged into his storylines. For example, this segment would have blown if Brooke was there.

About the cage match... well it sounds good to me. Hopefully we get some high spots from Sabin.

Crossbody off the cage

He's been gone for two years, was handed the X Division title without having to work towards it and then given a second X Division title, then given the world title without there BEING ANY angle involving him in the main event, with Bully Ray or anything that would made sense for him to end Bully Ray's reign of terror. So no, he didn't "deserve" it. I've never been a fan of his, Alex Shelley would be a much better champion, but that aside, if Sabin actually worked towards championship run and actually had, you know, some kind of heat with Bully, then yeah, I could get with it. This however was for, as EC put it, for Sabin's sob story and to shock everyone with a feel good title swap.

Zod's point was that Sabin is too small to be a HEAVYWEIGHT Champion, I believe.

That was my original point.

That was my original point.

But wrestling was made for feel good moments. Whether you agree with the booking or not, Sabin can be a good champion.

Hopefully a little more than that.

I understand that but it was an ignorant statement to the 5th degree

Well if the master of ignorant statements says it's ignorant then it must be ignorant.

Anyways, my take on things is that he is a visibly weak champion at this point. I hope he defends the title Hardcore Justice and then drops it later on an Impact because on one hand I want him to defend the title at least once so he doesn't look like a throwaway champion, but on the other hand I don't think he can carry the belt for 2 PPVs out of the few that TNA now has.

That's what romantic comedies were made for. That is not even close to what wrestling was made for.

I don't. I haven't agreed with any of their booking for almost as long as Sabin has been gone. You book a heel to hold your championship hostage so the man you're building up as the oppressed or the hero can end the reign of terror, not a random X Division lightweight to end it on a random show with no purpose behind it whatsoever.

Ok I agree that the booking was a little fucked but the fact is Sabin is champion and that can't change so be happy, I am

I agree. TNA would be wise to give Sabin a little bit of credibility.

However it's imperative that they do give it back to Bully Ray at some point so a proper champion can stop him once and for all.

That's what romantic comedies were made for. That is not even close to what wrestling was made for.

That's the best thing I've read in while.

That was my initial thought. At this point I think the fans were taking Ray's reign more seriously than TNA were. I don't think the booking team even realized he was supposed to be holding the title hostage so to speak.

Booking aside, I don't care for Chris Sabin anyway.

I'll be happy if Alex Shelley comes back at Hardcore Justice and challenges Sabin to a title match at Bound For Glory. Shelley wins it for Detroit!

Well here's hoping that Sabin actually gains some main event credibility and develops his mic work a little in this month or two that he has as champion so that sometime down the road he can have a proper title win and look like a much more legitimate champion.
