I’ll always openly admit Russo should always have an editor above him that knows what they’re doing to make sure he doesn’t completely lose the plot but these are the two things the Russo does so well that I’ll never abandon being a fan of his overall booking style, because if you can involve everyone and have storylines that are weaved throughout the entire show, you’ve hooked me in.
Hogan and Bischoff were heavily involved in creative once they came in, though.
If you want a true look at his vision unmeddled, Russo was the head writer from August to December 2009. Before that he was always in a committee.

One of the best examples of this was Fully Loaded 1999. Russo started angles in the pre-show that continued until the main event. It was glorious.
