Michael Elgin and Eddie Edwards have had some of the most exciting and highly competitive match ups in recent memory.Whether it’s on an episode of IMPACT! or a pay-per-view like Hard To Kill, these two warriors always tear the house down. Their most recent battle in Dallas, Texas was over the coveted Call Your Shot Trophy which awards the holder a Championship match of their choosing anytime, anyplace. Eddie may have defeated Elgin with the trophy on the line at Hard To Kill but their personal rivalry is far from over. On the next episode of IMPACT!, Michael Elgin and Eddie Edwards will begin a Best of Five Series to settle who the superior athlete is once and for all. Whoever scores the first victory will kick off the series with a huge momentum boost. Tune in Tuesday at 8/7c on AXS TV to see how it all plays out.
This Tuesday on IMPACT!, we will find out who is next in line for a shot at Taya Valkyrie and the Knockouts Championship. What was originally supposed to be a singles contenders match between Kiera Hogan and Madison Rayne has turned into a three way with the inclusion of Jordynne Grace. Taya has faced no shortage of challengers in her history-making reign as Knockouts Champion but no one has had her number as much as Jordynne Grace in recent weeks. At Bash at the Brewery 2 on IMPACT Plus, Jordynne successfully pinned Taya in a non-title Brewery Brawl. Two days later at Hard To Kill, Jordynne had the Title won in a match against Taya and ODB but Taya stole the victory from her in the final seconds. Meanwhile, Kiera and Madison are now in the Knockouts Title picture after they were promised opportunities by Taya in exchange for watching her back. Three Knockouts will walk into Mexico City this Tuesday at 8/7c on AXS TV but only one will leave with a Knockouts Championship opportunity.
This Tuesday’s episode of IMPACT! will feature the stars of Lucha Libre AAA taking on the stars of IMPACT Wrestling in a series of match ups. Watch them all unfold at 8/7c on AXS TV and Twitch. After watching the back of X-Division Champion Ace Austin for several weeks, Reno Scum re-shifts their focus to gaining momentum in IMPACT Wrestling’s tag team division. Their opponents will be none other than AAA legend Dr Wagner Jr and one of the fastest rising stars in IMPACT, Daga. Which team will get the job done in Mexico City?
Last week on IMPACT!, The North were seen bragging about their 2 on 1 victory over Willie Mack at Hard To Kill. This led to an altercation with Lucha Libre AAA’s Vikingo in the backstage area. Now, one half of the IMPACT Tag Team Champions Josh Alexander will take to the ring for singles action against Vikingo in what is sure to be an action-packed match up.
There are few more terrifying individuals in Lucha Libre AAA than Pagano and Murder Clown. What appeared to be a harmless session in the Treehouse last week on IMPACT!, turned into a trip that the Rascalz would never forget. This Tuesday, the fun and games will be over when Pagano and Murder Clown battle Dez & Wentz of the Rascalz with bragging rights and momentum on the line.
Elgin vs Edwards brings me to the Yard. Two veterans who will give us damn entertaining Matches, that I no doubt have faith that each Match will be different than the last. I still see Elgin winning out and somehow getting the Call Your Shot Trophy in probably the last Match of the 5. Rayne vs Grace vs Hogan, all bets lean towards Grace getting her probably Title shot vs Taya. AAA stars into this taping hard, Zero would tell you how good Vikingo is because my words couldn't do it justice I feel. He was highly impressive the last time I saw him in Mexico and Alexander is the perfect guy for him to show off those great Skills. That Matchup could be a show stealer.
