If You Were Dixie Carter, Which Non Main Event Star Would You Sign?

Just for the sake of setting the feild, I will list the current guys who are truely main event.

Cena
Orton
Punk
Bryan
Jericho
Kane
Big Show
Taker
HHH
Henry

Anybody else NOT on that list can be picked. And no The Rock is not in the real of any equation here. So again, If you were Dixie Carter, and you knew that a WWE werestler's (Not in the list above) contract was expiering in the Spring, which wrestler would you want it to be?

I would like to hear a few picks before I give mine, really B/C I bet the first person to read and respond, could tell me my pick quicker than I could.

So with that being out the way, who would you take to grow TNA?

None TNA have enough talent as it is and have a bad reputation of getting former WWE guys they should be focused on building their own talent and using established guys like Kurt Angle and Sting to put them over.

None.

I'd save a shit ton of money on overpaid hacks like Anderson and pay the more reliable, actual ratings getters in the Knockouts a better salary.

First off if was Dixie Carter I'd get out of the wrestling business and maybe into face cream or something more her style. Second... if it was me instead I'd sign people like Kofi Kingston that fans can get behind and would make for hilarious heel/face turns every six months.

Let's take the entire fact that Dixie wouldn't know what to do with a marquee talent from WWE and put that aside.

Cena. Proven draw. If he was to even appear on one TNA show, that place would finally hit the radar.

Why would TNA want a "non main eventer" if their going to spend money going after someone under contract may as well make it an established star. Though I really don't see TNA as someone that can take talent away from WWE unless WWE doesn't want that talent.

Since it's been proven that signing WWE names ultimately has done nothing for them since they get asked in airports "what have you been doing since you left WWE?" I'd just use that money on indy guys, do what Paul Heyman suggested and dump anyone over 40 minus one of them that gets to stay and build on the fact that this company is built on youth wrestlers who are hungry. They aren't gonna ever compete with WWE esp with their current formula they keep trying to do over the years so mine as well start back to square one.

If Dixie Carter had free reign to sign any of those wrestlers then it isn't a contest, you would sign John Cena every time. It would be a dumb decision to sign anyone else if you could sign Cena. He is the biggest draw the business has seen in the past ten years and if he went to TNA he would boost their ratings big time because he would get them so much exposure and he would bring over so many of his fans. Hell his first PPV with them would easily break TNA buyrate records and he could probably get them close to a 2 rating. No-one else would come close to making as big an Impact as Cena.

Problem is TNA would expose him more so then WWE do and I am sure they would go bankrupt having to pay him he's fee because I can tell you now he'd be on a lot more then what Sting would be.

He would cost a lot but he would certainly be worth it. He would bring in so much money he would be considered cheap to TNA. I have no doubt that he would double TNA PPV buyrates, not hard when they are 20k or less, and that alone will add millions of dollars to the bottom line each year. Add in more advertising revenue from the TV show, bigger crowds for each event and big merchandise sales and Cena is easily worth a few million a year to TNA to sign him. Plus TNA can book their dream matches in Cena vs. Hogan, vs. Flair, vs. Sting etc. on seperate PPVs and they will break company records. Problem is Cena will never leave WWE.

Why would they sign a non main eventer? I'm pretty sure most of the WWE guys they have signed have been main eventers to a certain capacity other than a few (like Fat Hardy who sucked anyway).

Evan Bourne could be a nice addition to the X division. Ziggler, Rhodes, and I could probably go on. Why not have a Christian/TNA reunion? Some of the names are doubtful though because of who works behind the scenes like Dusty Rhodes. Doubtful Cody would ever go elsewhere unless if he was really in a terrible position.
