I'm putting my vote toward the Dream Master ineffective as that may be. I like Ash too but sometimes I think he gets incredibly overrated.

If you really think about Ash loses the fight in all three films. While Alice is the only heroine to defeat Freddy twice and walk away.

I don't own a t-shirt with Alice on it. Or movie posters with her on it. Ash has personality and that goes a long long way. He is an icon and created one liners. He is the greatest.

I don't own anything with Ash either. Icon or not he wasn't really that great of a hero.

Alright, well that being the case, I'll still go with Freddy. He's been in more movies than Ash and its hard to go against Englund's brilliant portrayal of the nasty dream demon.

Freddy with ease. Horror movies have always and will always be about the bad guy. He's what makes the heroes like Van Helsing, Ripley and Ash even possible. While I'd still say a character like Dracula is still the best villain ever, Freddy is the best of the modern age.

Yeah this one is all about Freddy, probably the most Innovative Horror Villain ever thought of... my all time favorite... Ash did his business, but when he was exhausted and passed out it was Freddy took his ass to school!

Both have great personality and are total badasses. Ash wouldn't fear Freddy. He gets my vote.

Honestly this is a tough decision. I lean I could see ash going into the dream world with his broomstick and chainsaw after Freddy, I don't think Freddy would expect to he facing someone who really would not be afraid of him, as Ash has literally gone through hell. I still think Freddy would get into Ash's psyche but I think with Ash not being afraid it would give him a slight edge. In that regards Ash would win, but in the department of Freddy being a sadistic mother fucker he wins.

So in an all out fight I think Ash would win because he would not be afraid.

If this enters the dream world Freddy would have it because that is where he is is strongest.

Ash is mortal and does have to sleep, Freddy with the win in the dream world.

But if Ash has the Necromican he has proven that he can eat what it has to offer and who's to say he couldn't unleash it's wrath on Freddy and there is no way Freddy would be expecting that.
