Has a few joints on there I like but overall too many skipable tracks. Don't know who told him that he needs to rap over those trap type beats but they don't fit him at all. The melodic stuff is his strength.

"Sing About Me" is pretty fucking phenomenal.

Sing About Me is crazy lyrical I just wish I liked the beat a bit more but in terms of lyrics it couldn't get better.

Kendrick got an XXL: Kendrick Lamar, good kid, m.A.A.d city | XXL.

Not saying XXL is the end all, be all, but they don't give out XXLs too often and the last two albums that got it were Life is Good and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy both of which are probably gonna be future classics, and I think that although Kanye's album has better production, lyrically Kanye can't often fuck with Kendrick. Kendrick is on Nas's level lyrically on this album.

Shyne isn't even relevant. I agree with his comments about Rick Ross being fake and Drake acting too hard, but Kendrick raps about real shit. Even Slim Thug defended Kendrick.

Haven't watched that video yet but I'm assuming he spoke badly of Kendrick which would be laughable considering how trash Shyne has been since getting out of prison.

Edit: Okay listened to it and Shyne is a moron. In part cause I feel if you're a rapper to call another rapper's album trash you need to have good music yourself and he hasn't put any good music out since he's been out of prison. Going as far as he feels sorry for Kendrick cause people are gassing him up people can say the exact same about him. Seems like he decided he didn't like the beats and didn't pay attention to how great the rhymes were and the fact that the album was a story.
