Just finally got around to listening to Isaiah Rashad's Cilvia Demo and TDE is 2 for fucking 2 so far as this album is dope as hell. Oxymoron is a more well rounded album but I still I still enjoy this pretty much just as much as Oxymoron. R.I.P Kevin Miller, Shot you down, Banana, Heavenly Father and Soliloguy (which this was longer he kills it) are my favorite tracks on 1st listen.

Can't wait for the rest of TDE cause so far it looks like they are going to own the hell out of 2014. Hope Absoul is up next should probably save Kendrick for last.

So mastermind is out :mark: I've listen to it 3 times already today going on my 4th while i type this. ROZAY's best work since rich forever or Teflon don. His beat selection and production is off the fuckin' charts throughout this. Favorite tracks so far are; Nobody, Supreme, In Vein, Sanctified Kanye on this track is :banderas: Thug Cry & Blessing in Disguise. But overall everything is strong throughout. 9.5/10

I've listened to it a few times he got some joints on this since he usually has some of the best beat selection in hip hop but there is some pretty skippable tracks on it which is trap shit I hate hearing him on. Do like the fact that he actually got Z-Ro on the album that was a shock even though he should have had a verse. Another shocker was Wayne actually not only not being terrible but having a good verse probably one of his verse in at least like 3-4 years. Sanctified was probably the most disappointing track due to Kanye's verse being awful because he decided to use that overused annoying rapping cadence that too many rappers use and I hated the beat. War Ready also could have been so much better since that track was supposed to be huge considering their history. Personally thought GFID was a better album with more replay value this is just has too many tracks that I wouldn't find myself going back to much.

Stand out tracks for me were Rich is gangsta, Nobody, Devil is a lie, Blessing in disguise and Thug Cry.

Beat is dope as fuck esp when the drums and bassline drop. Would have rather it was Nip ft Hitboy so Nipsey could have more than 1 verse but Hit Boy delivered pretty well on it.

Well I got a new album of the year so far in Freddie Gibbs and Madlibs Pinata album. There is not a single weak track or average track on this for me. Madlib killed it on the production and Gibbs delivered on every track. So many standout tracks on this but "Real" is a pretty in your face one. I fuck with Jeezy's music almost for the most part but he killed Jeezy in this song. I have a hard time believing that this won't be in my top 5 hip hop albums of the year in the end. If I had to the pick the 5 best tracks on this I'd say: Real, Pinata, Shittsville, Deeper and Robes.

Kendrick has announced the title of his new album, which is due out September 2014.
Kendrick Lamar's good kid, m.A.A.d. city made a huge impact on the rap game upon its release, and while the rapper has remained a looming presence since its release ("Control" anyone?), anticipation has remained for the follow-up to his debut.

The wait appears to be over, as K.Dot has announced his new album will be available September 2014, and has also given us the title for the project-- United States Of A.L.A.R.M.

Can't wait.
