UK Rap/Grime/Hip Hop discussion.

Does anyone listen to this style of music? Always listening to a few grime / MC videos each day and my favourite artist is probably Lunar C.

EDIT: Considering a lot of these guys don't just do grime, they also rap, do hip hop shit and do battle raps I guess UK RAP/Grime/Hip Hop discussion is a little better.

Nice to have another Grime fan around here, me and Dale normally talk about it in the Shoutbox. SB TV is dope and the site i visit the most.

Yeah SBTV is awesome. Got a few Manchester artists that are making a name for themselves at the moment, namely Shotty Horroh, Blizzard and even though I'm not a massive fan there's also the 15 year old Geko.

I remembered when those Ghetts videos came out on SB.TV, always preferred the Grime warmup for some reason although I haven't listened to them in a while. About Raider, I dunno what it is about him but I just can't get into him. I know he's good lyrically and with his flow and stuff, but like he never gets me gassed he just seems to spit with no passion or emotion I dunno. Plus when I see him in the StayFresh sets, he always ends up in the background never getting gassed himself or adlibbing and stuff. I'd probably say Pressure is my favourite, think he's sick as fuck and can't wait to see his stuff on LOTM4. You follow LOTM?

Tim Westwood, what a fucking dissapointment that channel has been for a long time. I remember when it was just non-stop grime uploaded on there and funnily enough his channel actually got me into Grime and was a result of finding out about most of the artists. Nowadays you just get fucking shitty interviews from US stars about beef with different rappers, its fucking terrible. Can't remember the last time I watched an uploaded video of his, I usually just delete the videos from subscriptions nowadays. Funnily enough actually, most of his recent uploads and have been re-ups of his old Grime sets, guess his channel views dwindled heavily and so he's trying to get them back.

Don't normally like Lunar but he KILLED that upcomers anthem track with Lab. Crazy. Any Mic Righteouss or Lowkey or Akala been posted up in here yet? Thinking mans "grime" so to speak.

Boy Better Know all day as well, JME kills everything he's on even though his flow sometimes falters his wordplay is UNREAL.

Didn't realise Lunar C was from Bradford, I should probably like him lol. I dunno what it is though, his lyrics are good but I just find the Yorkshire / Lancashire accents sound weird when spitting. Probably because I haven't listened to much up north MC's.
