In this modern creature feature, a scary internet meme called “Grimcutty” stirs up panic amongst all the parents in town, convinced it’s making their kids harm themselves and others. When a real-life version of Grimcutty starts attacking teen Asha Chaudry (Sara Wolfkind), her parents believe that she’s cutting herself as part of a challenge. With her phone taken away and no one who believes her, Asha has to figure out how to get through to her parents and stop the Grimcutty once and for all.​

Kind of reminds me of this Gillian Jacobs movie called Come Play.....hopefully there's no autistic character that's made into their superpower.

A Monster or entity of some kind that will make you got nuts and go Michael or Jason on people sounds like a good party to me. I wonder how they'll defeat the thing but I like how they are taken no prisoners in this one having a kid stab his Mother.

I thought this was a very fun time overall. Just don't go in expecting anything mind-blowing or any award winning performances. The acting is generally fine for the most part but nothing to write home about. Really enjoyed the way this movie opened up, it was quite the tense scene, it sets a good atmosphere for the rest of the movie. I really liked the creature design the most, it was pretty damn creepy and well done. Like imagining seeing that Grimcutty thing at night hunting you is a pretty damn terrifying thought. Just one of those movies you kinda shut your brain off for and have a lot of fun with. Really enjoyed it!
