Reservoir Dogs wins this for me. It had more than one good actor and a much better director. It also made the most of the limited budget it worked on.

You are right and thats a fair point. Trouble is we live in a age where high profile movies either have to be considered masterpieces or total crap where as often the truth is somewhere in the middle. The Dark Knight is a very good movie, not a master piece, but still very good.

The Dark Knight for me, I was never a Batman fan until that movie. Outstanding movie and Heath Ledger's performance was incredible.
