SmackDown Live Going Live

Sescoops.com - WWE has reportedly applied to trademark the word “SmackDown” in regards to a televisionprogram. This is likely a move being done in case WWE ends up moving SmackDown to another night when they re-negotiate the television deal for the show. According to reports, there is a potential plan in place to move SmackDown to Tuesday night and air the show live.

Would love it to be live on Thursday, just not sure if it is viable with the travel schedule. I'm assuming they are looking at changing networks at least for it be it USA or not exclusive with one cable giant

It's gonna be weird live on Tuesday because then we'd have the two main shows back to back and almost a week until another one. I never read spoilers anyway so it doesn't bother me with Smackdown being taped but I do see the benefits of a live show.

Ppv week would be weird unless if they try for Saturday nights. That's such a tight jammed pack week of programming especially with Main Event being a Wednesday show

Why? They have shows most nights of the week anyway, so it doesn't really effect wrestlers. It just a matter of some of the road crew having to work on a different day instead of Tuesday they work Friday. Not sure how theyd respond but I don't think that much matters.

I mean the production trucks traveling. I guess with higher license fees they can make it work. Usually the tapings are scheduled so all the 18 wheelers have a relatively short distance to travel. Gas and upkeep can be a bitch.

You could still just schedule the two televisons nearby and then send the wrestlers a bit farther out. It can be made to work .
