Okay, this works a bit different from other forums I've visited. How do I get it on my ava/sig?

Settings (top right) > Edit avatar / signature

Isn't working. You go to option 2 and hit the browse button, right?

Yeah. Then select the file from your computer. After that, press 'save changes' at the bottom of the page.

Keeps saying "upload failed". Much thanks for making it, but my tech ineptitude gets in the way.

Try ticking the 'use custom avatar' option and copy/pasting this into option 1-

I tried it twice. The first time it said "invalid url" the second it said "remote file is too large"

In that case, best option would be to message an admin/owner and ask them to change it for you via the admin CP.
