HTTPS is supposed to be secure, like you wont get warnings that the site is dangerous

On Firefox Mobile there's a lock beside the URL and if it's locked it's HTTPS and if it's not it shows unlocked if it's regular HTTP

there's like two lines next to it and when i click that it shows a padlock and says the site is secure so it's probably the same just more hidden

It's an extra layer of encryption, used to be special if sites has it but now it's the standard so if you don't have it you're a janky site

also brower notifications are the bane of old peoples existences, especially on android

when i worked at a cell phone company we had so many old people come in claiming their phones were hacked and all i would do is open their brower, clear all tabs, and turn off notifications for it and they acted like i performed a miracle

Every now and then this site will ask if I want to turn on notifications lol

i have overall notifications turned off for the browser and inside chrome i turn off location and notifications cuz i got tired of the prompts

when i got rid of cable, they told me i had to physically take the TiVo box back to a location that was over an hour drive away.

so i did that and showed up on their lunch break so the entire office was closed for an hour. waited in my car until they opened and when i finally got into there the lady was like, "oh you could have taken it here, it's so much closer" even tho i specifically asked that on the phone and they told me no

since i still had internet with them she gave me a $50 credit on my next bill for driving all that distance
