Triple H saying Cardona is a mark for himself is the funniest thing to hear from him as he poses in the Mirror every night in his HHH tights talking to himself saying I'm the Game and I'm better than AEW. Cardona does give off that Jock, big Man on Campus attitude at times but he's really a cool guy from what I've heard. Also you need to be a mark for yourself you need to take investment in it because if you don't have the confidence who in the hell is going to believe in you or take an interest in you as a Wrestler.

Speaking to Renee Paquette on Oral Sessions, Cardona discussed the fallout from the match and how he was feeling in the subsequent hours.

"It was a disaster," Cardona said when asked about traveling after the match. "Believe it or not, there's no medical staff backstage at GCW. Luckily, there was a nurse who did stitch me up a bit, but all my slices and wounds were exposed. Luckily, my friend Giancarlo (Dittamo) had a hotel room he let me use to shower off and then he taped towels to me so I could fly home. He like, dressed me. I went through airport security like that and I flew right to Anaheim for Disneyland. I was bleeding out on this flight. It would dry and as I would move, it would rip open again and there was blood everywhere. I had to go to a hotel and get cleaned up. I took a bath and it looked like I was stabbed or stabbed somebody."

Renee joked that Cardona should give someone his gear, which wasn't a joke to Cardona, who revealed he sold his gear for a nice profit.

"I sold all my bloody gear. For big bucks, baby. I sold the boots, the wrist tape, the gloves, the pants, the shirts, all sold separately. (I made) more than I got paid for the match. I got paid a lot for the match, but that's how much the stuff was going for. I don't control the market. It's supply and demand," he said.

Cardona didn't reveal how much he made from the gear sale or the match with Gage.
