Fully Loaded 2001 was replaced by Invasion in July 2001.
Fully Loaded 2002 was scheduled for July 2002 in early 2002.
Why was Fully Loaded replaced by Vengeance in July 2002 when they already has a Vengeance in December 2001?
Simple, due to 9/11, in the immediate aftermath, it was felt that Armageddon was too insensitive to use for a ppv name so it was replaced by Vengeance.
In mid 2002 Armageddon was brought back to be scheduled for December 2002 and WWE not wanting to discard the Vengeance name replaced the Fully Loaded PPV with Vengeance for July 2002.
Personally Fully Loaded holds more value for me, producing 3 great PPV’s in a row. Vengeance 2001 really didn’t draw much either.
Do you prefer Vengeance or Fully Loaded?
