HULK HOGAN (w/ Brutus Beefcake) def. RIC FLAIR (w/ Mr. Perfect).... Hogan pins Flair and retains the title after a grueling bout which saw both legends at their best ... After the match, SID VICIOUS leaves the backstage area and enters the ring while Hogan is celebrating the win with Brutus. Sid calmly reminds Hogan that they have a date with destiny at the upcoming WWF Wrestlemania 8 show ... They shake hands, but suddenly Sid snaps and hits Hogan with a kick to the stomach, followed by a Powerbomb! ... Hogan is flat on the mat and gasping for air ... Brutus checks on Hogan while Flair and Mr. Perfect are pleasantly surprised by Sid's actions ... Flair starts kicking Hogan and Mr. Perfect is choking Brutus while Sid looks on in approval until THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR makes a surprise return after a 7-month long absence and rushes to the ring to save Hogan and Brutus by attacking Flair and Mr. Perfect ... Sid is unfazed and slowly leaves the ring ... Flair and Mr. Perfect eventually escape, then a dozen security staff members intervene and contain the Warrior, therefore preventing any physical altercation between the Warrior and Sid .... Warrior then helps Hogan and Brutus to their feet while Sid is on the ramp way heading to the locker room and shouting at the booing fans.

Ric Flair (w/ Mr. Perfect) is still obsessed with Hulk Hogan and has formed an alliance with Ted DiBiase (w/ Sensational Sherri) ! DiBiase is one of Hogan's longtime rivals and is currently feuding with current WWF Million Dollar champion Roddy Piper (Hogan's ally).

After winning the 30-man Royal Rumble match, Sid Vicious is the number one contender for Hulk Hogan's WWF World title and is determined to end Hulkamania at WWF Wrestlemania 8 at The Hoosier Dome in Indianapolis, IN, on April 5, but he is irate at The Ultimate Warrior for interfering at the WWF Royal Rumble during Sid's ambush on Hogan. Sid wants to get rid of the Warrior before facing Hogan. However, Warrior has unfinished business with Jake Roberts, the man who locked him in a room filled with snakes 7 months ago ... Furthermore, The Undertaker (w/ Paul Bearer) is in cahoots with Jake Roberts since last year but is now focused on seeking revenge towards Sid, who eliminated him from the 30-man Royal Rumble match (thus preventing The Undertaker from earning a WWF World title shot at WWF WrestleMania 8.

WWF President Jack Tunney has picked The British Bulldog as the next WWF IC title contender. He will therefore face his brother-in--law and current WWF IC champion Bret Hart.

Shawn Michaels has announced that he is willing to add more women to his womanizing "collection". The ambitious and cocky youngster has started harassing Ms. Elizabeth (Randy Savage's wife and manager) with unsolicited dinner invitations and red roses. Savage is enraged and has challenged Michaels to a match. Michaels has accepted under one condition : If he beats Savage, he will be granted 24 hours with Ms. Elizabeth !

Earthquake and his manager Jimmy Hart are still enraged for failing to capture the WWF World tag team titles from The Road Warriors which led to the breakup with Typhoon at WWF Royal Rumble, as previosuly reported. However, they have been granted a second chance by WWF President Jack Tunney. This time, Earthquake's tag team partner will be The Mountie, who is also managed by Jimmy Hart. Moreover, Tunney has ruled that the match will also be a Lumberjack Match.

The following wrestlers have been released by the WWF = Dino Bravo, The Berzerker, Skinner, Nikolai Volkoff and Colonel Mustafa (w/ General Adnan).

In closing, the WWF's next major televised show is WWF Saturday Night's Main Event 30, which will take place in Anaheim, CA on January 27. For the first time ever, it will be broadcast on pay-per-view and with an airtime duration of 2 hours (instead of 90 minutes).

Shortly thereafter, as Hart greets the audience from inside the ring, SHAWN MICHAELS rushes from the backstage area and attacks Hart with a Superkick ! Michaels wants the IC title ! .... The Bulldog returns to the ring to save Hart, but Michaels quickly escapes.

THE UNDERTAKER (w/ Paul Bearer) by pinfall … This match was a head-on collision between two titans who exhibited sheer power, a fearless attitude and true grit to the max … The highlights of this clash were when Sid kicked out of The Undertaker’s Tombstone Piledriver finishing move and when The Undertaker later kicked out of one of Sid’s Powerbonbs before capitulating through a second Powerbomb … After the match, THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR suddenly rushes to the ring to attack Sid !... The Warrior attempts a clothesline but accidentally hits The Undertaker as Sid ducks ! … Soon afterwards, Sid grabs Warrior by the throat and chokeslams him before leaving the ring .. The Undertaker and the Warrior are now left alone ... The Undertaker is furious with the Warrior and assaults him. ... A brawl between them ensues until JAKE ROBERTS arrives on the scene to help his ally The Undertaker and hurt his archrival Warrior .... Roberts hits the Warrior with a DDT ! However, the Undertaker has second thoughts and stops Roberts before a second DDT is applied ! A puzzled Roberts threatens the Undertaker not to interfere, an argument follows and they begin exchanging punches until the security staff intervenes.

As previously mentioned, the much-anticipated WWF World title match between champion Hulk Hogan and challenger Sid Vicious will headline WWF Wrestlemania 8 in Indianapolis, IN. on April 5. More recently, during a special televised interview conducted by WWF owner Vince McMahon, Hogan has surprisingly announced that he will leave pro wrestling if he loses against Sid ! …. In the meantime, Sid is undefeated and piling up a series of wins against several opponents (such as Hercules, Jim Powers, Haku, Koko B. Ware, Chris Walker, Typhoon, The Barbarian, Virgil and Jim Brunzell) on various WWF house shows in the US and overseas. Furthermore, he has assaulted Brutus Beefcake (Hogan’s friend) and has destroyed his Barber Shop set !

WWF President Jack Tunney has announced that The Ultimate Warrior and The British Bulldog will face each other at WWF Wrestlemania 8 to determine who will challenge for the WWF World title at the WWF Summer Slam 1992 show in late August. The Warrior and the Bulldog are on good terms and there is no animosity between them, but their match will surely be highly contested ….Moreover, Tunney has also announced that Randy Savage (w/ Ms. Elizabeth) and Ric Flair (w/ Mr. Perfect) will clash at WWF Wrestlemania 8 to determine the number one contender for the WWF IC title. The winner will face the WWF IC champion at the WWF King of the Ring show, which will air in June live on pay-per-view for the first time ever and will feature 8 participants instead of the usual 16 of previous editions. After the announcement, Flair has immediately started playing mind games with Savage and is trying to psychologically get the upper hand ahead of the match by claiming that he recently had an affair with Savage's wife and manager Ms. Elizabeth ! This has sparked Savage’s notoriously insane jealousy and dangerous ire while Ms. Elizabeth is keeping quiet. A bitter feud is underway and it's taking the WWF by storm.

THE NEW FOUNDATION def. THE ORIENT EXPRESS (w/ Mr. Fuji) as Jim Neidhart pins Pat Tanaka ... The Japanese duo controlled most of the
bout through quick tags and their cheating ways (assisted by Mr. Fuji at ringside), but that was not enough to overcome Hart's speed and agility backed by Neidhart's experience and grit.

THE MOUNTIE (w/ Jimmy Hart) def. THE BIG BOSSMAN by pinfall. .... The Mountie's shrewd approach to the match and Hart's cheating tactics were effective in defeating The Big Bossman despite his tenacity and intensity.

THE UNDERTAKER (w/ Paul Bearer)) def. JAKE ROBERTS .... Towards the end of this intense bout, Roberts lands 2 consecutive and impressive DDT's but Undertaker sits right back up and gradually wears down Roberts with a series of punches and kicks until landing the Tombstone Piledriver and eventually dragging Roberts into the casket for the win.

TED DIBIASE (w/ Sensational Sherri) def. RODDY PIPER (w/ Virgil) .... The bout featured Piper's canny brawling style and DiBiase's relentless technical repertoire ... DiBiase wins and regains the WWF Million Dollar title by leaving the steel cage first as Virgil shockingly betrays and assaults Piper keeping him inside the ring with a chokehold while Sherri distracts referee Joey Marella ! ... Virgil has reunited with DiBiase after almost two years !


WWF WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES MATCH =
THE ROAD WARRIORS (w/ Paul Ellering) def. THE NASTY BOYS (w' Jimmy Hart) by pinfall as Hawk pins Jerry Sags to retain the WWF World tag team titles .... This was a wild and bloody brawl. The Road Warriors' physical prowess ultimately prevailed over The Nasties' street fighting skills.


WWF WORLD TITLE CONTENDERS' MATCH =
THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR def. THE BRITISH BULLDOG by pinfall ... The match was filled with power moves. Both competitors showed tremendous strength and energy, but he Warrior's stamina was decisive as regards the outcome of this bout. ... As recently ruled by WWF president Jack Tunney, the winner of this match gets a shot at the WWF World title at WWF Summer Slam in late August.


WWF IC TITLE CONTENDERS' MATCH =
RANDY SAVAGE (w/ Ms. Elizabeth) vs. RIC FLAIR (w/ Mr. Perfect) ends in a No Contest .... During this intense match, both competitors performed their most iconic moves, but it all ends after unexpected interference from Ms. Elizabeth, who turns against Savage while trying to help Flair win ! This leads to a No Contest ruling made by referee Mike Chioda ... At the end of the bout, Flair and Ms. Elizabeth kiss and escape along with Mr. Perfect while an enraged and furious Savage tries to chase them but to no avail as he is stopped by the security staff.


WWF IC TITLE MATCH / LADDER MATCH =
BRET HART def. SHAWN MICHAELS by retrieving the title hanging above the ring and remains WWF IC champion ... For almost 30 grueling and exciting minutes, both competitors wrestled a brilliant, smart match that put their considerable skills on display and captivated the audience.


WWF WORLD TITLE MATCH =
SID VICIOUS def. HULK HOGAN (w/ Brutus Beefcake) by pinfall to become the new WWF World champion ! ... Sid dominates most of the match, Hogan shows resiliency and almost wins after landing a Leg Drop, but Sid kicks out than quickly executes the Power Bomb on Hogan. However, the champ kicks out ! The bout continues, more power moves are used by both competitors until Sid chokeslams and pins Hogan ! .... Sid is awarded the WWF World title while most fans in attendance are booing ... Sid then shouts : "Hulkamania is dead and I am the ruler of the world !" as he leaves a shocked and desperate Hogan in the ring before the show goes off the air.

The next major televised WWF event is WWF UK Rampage 1992, which will take place at Wembley Stadium in London on April 19. .... WWF President Jack Tunney has ruled that a tag team grudge match pitting Sid Vicious and Ric Flair (w/ Mr. Perfect) against Randy Savage and The Ultimate Warrior will be on the card. Following this ruling, Sid Vicious has reluctantly accepted to team up with Ric Flair, who instead appears enthusiastic about it ... Ric Flair will face the WWF IC champion (Shawn Michaels or Bret Hart, depending on who will prevail at WWF UK Rampage) first and the winner of this bout will then clash with Randy Savage that same night .... Furthermore, WWF President Jack Tunney has picked the participants of the 8-man King of the Ring tournament. The Road Warriors are still the WWF World tag team champions.


GRUDGE MATCH =
RODDY PIPER def. VIRGIL (w/ Sensational Sherri) by submission ....Piper overcame Virgil's athleticism and Sherri's ringside cheating interference with tenacity and determination .... After the match, TED DI BIASE leaves the backstage area to attack Piper, but the latter punches his way out of the ring and leaves making his exit through the cheering crowd thus avoiding being outnumbered by the dangerous trio.


WWF IC TITLE MATCH =
BRET HART def. SHAWN MICHAELS by submission to retain the WWF IC title .... The match was very entertaining, much reminiscent of their WWF Wrestlemania 8 recent clash ... Athleticism, aerial ability, mat-wrestling and ring psychology were all on display in this bout.


.... After a short break, the ring is empty until THE NASTY BOYS (w/ Jimmy Hart) make their way to the squared circle .... Hart grabs a mic and starts complaining that his team is not scheduled to wrestle tonight. .... Brian Knobbs then adds that "everyone in the WWF is just scared of The Nasty Boys" ... Jerry Sags proceeds by issuing an Open Challenge to whoever wants to fight them right now ! ... After a few seconds, THE UNDERTAKER's music starts playing and the arena lights are dimmed ! ... The Undertaker and his manager Paul Bearer then ominously appear on the ramp way ... Bearer proposes a 2 on 1 Handicap Match, but a frantic Hart refuses until referee Joey Marella arrives on the scene and makes the impromptu bout official ! .... The impromptu match starts with The Nasty Boys effectively double-teaming The Undertaker, who endures a beating until eventually turning the odds in his favor through patience and relentless aggression ... The match ends when The Undertaker pins Sags with the Tombstone Piledriver.


TAG TEAM GRUDGE MATCH =
SID VICIOUS & RIC FLAIR (w/ Mr. Perfect) vs. RANDY SAVAGE & THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR ends in a No Contest .... WWF World champion Sid did not look too pleased with being involved in this match and did not even participate by refusing to tag in every time Flair wanted to tag out ... On the other hand, Savage and Warrior made quick tags and effectively controlled most of the bout, but Flair showed impressive stamina and defensive skills .... At the 15th minute mark, Sid suddenly jumps off of the apron, walks out on Flair and yells at the fans then goes to leave. A shocked Mr. Perfect turns Sid around telling him to get back in the ring but almost gets decked, then Sid says ; "I am the man who stands alone ! I don't need Flair or you ! Get out of my way !" Mr. Perfect backs off and Sid heads towards the locker room, then referee Earl Hebner decides to stop the bout and declares it a No Contest due to Sid's exit ! Flair quickly rolls out of the ring and leaves with Mr. Perfect while Savage complains with Hebner as a puzzled Warrior looks on.

As previously reported, the main event will feature WWF World champion Sid Vicious squaring off against The British Bulldog, plus the WWF IC title will be defended twice tonight and of course the King of the Ring tournament will be taking place ! .... WWF President Jack Tunney has made a last-minute decision by announcing that THE BIG BOSSMAN will be the Special Guest Referee for the King of the Ring tournament final.


THE HIGHLIGHTS :


THE MOUNTIE and his manager Jimmy Hart unexpectedly make their way from the backstage area to ringside and sit at the announce table next to Vince McMahon and Bobby Heenan ! The Mountie then states that he is furious for not being included in tonight's tournament and that he wants to at least keep an eye on his nemesis The Big Bossman while also providing commentary throughout the show.

BRET HART def. RIC FLAIR (w/ Mr. Perfect) by pinfall ... The match was intense and both competitors showcased their technical prowess ... During this bout, Flair reversed Hart's Sharpshooter finishing move, but was later pinned ... Hart retains the title and will face Randy Savage later on tonight.

RANDY SAVAGE def. RODDY PIPER by pinfall ... Although there is no animosity between Savage and Piper, this bout was a wild and violent fight.

BRET HART def. TED DIBIASE (w/ Sensational Sherri) by submission .... DiBiase controlled most of the match through several cheap shots and cheating attempts as his manager Sherri distracted referee Joey Marella. However, Hart's determination and patience paid off and he was able to catch his opponent off guard moments before applying the Sharpshooter finisher for the win … After the match, VIRGIL attacks Hart, who quickly retaliates and manages to chase his attacker away.


WWF KING OF THE RING TOURNAMENT SEMIFINAL MATCH =
RANDY SAVAGE vs. THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR ends in a Double Count Out ... This match was filled with non-stop hard hitting action and it became a wild brawl in the end, but both competitors shook hands after the bout … As a result of the Double Count Out, Savage and Warrior are eliminated from the tournament. Therefore , the other semifinal match between Ric Flair (w/ Mr. Perfect) and Bret Hart has now become the tournament final !

After the bout, Savage and Hart shake hands ... Then Hart leaves, but suddenly EARTHQUAKE and his manager Harvey Wippleman enter the squared circle and challenge Savage for the next WWF pay-per-view event (WWF Summer Slam in August). Savage accepts while he and Earthquake have a stare down until Wippleman tells his protégé to leave ... Savage then turns his attention to the cheering fans in attendance to celebrate the win over Hart by showing off the IC title.

Sid was dominant throughout the bout using sheer intensity and violence despite the Bulldog’s courage and power … After the match, THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR arrives on the scene to confront his bitter rival Sid Vicious. They threaten each other until the security staff intervenes thus preventing any physical altercation between them. The rivalry between Sid and the Warrior is escalating.

RIC FLAIR )w/ Mr. Perfect) def. BRET HART by pinfall and wins the King of the Ring tournament ! .... As already seen in their previous and first match earlier tonight, both Flair and Hart wrestled at their best with back and forth action, quick counter moves and supreme technical ability ... Hart even countered Flair's Figure Four Leglock, but he eventually succumbed when Mr. Perfect hit him from behind and helped Flair pin Hart while guest commentator THE MOUNTIE (w/ Jimmy Hart) distracted Special Guest Referee The Big Bossman ! ... After the bout, while The Mountie and Jimmy Hart leave the scene and Bret Hart complains with the Bossman, the Coronation Ceremony is about to begin .... Flair's friend and financial adviser BOBBY HEENAN suddenly and abruptly grabs the mic from WWF interviewer GENE OKERLUND and congratulates Flair ... Heenan then officially declares Ric Flair the King of the WWF while Mr. Perfect proudly says : "All hail King Flair !" ... Flair then delivers his victory speech and underlines the fact that he is the greatest of all time before adding : "Sid Vicious, I did not forget what you did at the WWF UK Rampage ! You walked out on me !! Nobody walks out on me ! Sooner or later, you will pay the price and bow down to me, the King, your King, the King of the WWF ! Woooo !!" ... In the meantime, SID VICIOUS is shown watching on from the locker room's monitor. He is unfazed and grins ... Shortly thereafter; BRET HART approaches Ric Flair to confront him and makes it clear that he will not acknowledge Flair as the King of the WWF. An argument ensues between Hart and Flair while a fearful Heenan frantically leaves the scene ... Then, Hart's main nemesis SHAWN MICHAELS suddenly arrives and strikes him from behind ! ... Hart is down while Flair, Michaels and Mr. Perfect kick him until THE BRITISH BULLDOG and THE NEW FOUNDATION tag team rush to the rescue just moments before the show goes off the air !

The British Bulldog has pinned Ted DiBiase (w/ Sensational Sherri) to become the WWF Million Dollar champion at a WWF house show in Boston, MA.

The Barbarian has been released by the WWF .... Greg Valentine has left the WWF.

The WWF has signed "The Diamond Studd" Scott Hall .... The WWF has also signed The Samoan SWAT Team (Samu and Fatu managed by Afa).

Tag team partners Sgt. Slaughter and Jim Duggan have announced that they will occasionally compete also in singles competition.

During an interview with WWF owner Vince McMahon, Mr. Perfect has announced that he is 100% ready to return to in-ring competition after a year-long break. Additonally, he and Ric Flair (now also known as King Flair) have issued a challenge to Bret Hart with the goal to end the feud with the latter following the previously reported turmoil at WWF King of the Ring. Bret Hart has accepted the challenge and WWF President Jack Tunney has ruled that Mr. Perfect and Ric Flair will wrestle Bret Hart and a partner of his choosing in a tag team grudge match at WWF Summer Slam 1992, which will take place in New York's Madison Square Garden on August 29. Just days after the ruling, Bret Hart unveiled Roddy Piper as his tag team partner. Piper adamantly accepted since he has always been at odds with Ric Flair .... Also at WWF Summer Slam, the main event will be WWF World champion Sid Vicious vs. The Ultimate Warrior, which is a highly anticipated clash. Plus, WWF IC champion Randy Savage will defend against Earthquake (w/ Harvey Wippleman), Million Dollar champion The British Bulldog will clash with challenger Shawn Michaels, WWF World tag team champions The Road Warriors (w/Paul Ellering) will defend their titles against Ted DiBiase and Virgil (w/ Sensational Sherri), who are currently undefeated. Also, after attacking The Undertaker at WWF King of the Ring in June, the evil and dangerous Papa Shango will square off against The Undertaker in a Grudge Match. After the bout, Earthquake attacks Savage then leaves him almost unconscious in the ring … Shortly thereafter, THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR arrives to check on his ally Savage and tries to help him get to his feet. However, Savage refuses any assistance blaming the Warrior for arriving too late … The two men start arguing and shoving each other until the security staff intervenes and prevents any physical altercation... Savage then turns his attention to the fans in attendance and shows off the WWF IC title while Warrior leaves. … The alliance between Savage and the Warrior is over.


TAG TEAM GRUDGE MATCH =
BRET HART & RODDY PIPER vs. MR. PERFECT & RIC FLAIR ended in a Time Limit Draw .... All competitors showed top-notch technical and brawling skills but no one prevailed.

SID VICIOUS def. THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR by pinfall to retain the title ... Sid's physical dominance and mean streak tamed Warrior's speed and pure energy ... During the bout, Sid gradually wore his bitter rival down and eventually pinned him after delivering 2 consecutive and devastating Power Bombs. Sid continues to rule the WWF and remains undefeated … After the bout, as Warrior is carried out on a stretcher and Sid is celebrating, RIC FLAIR and MR. PERFECT make their way to the ring ! Flair then challenges Sid to a match to take place in the near future, but he is suddenly struck from behind by Mr. Perfect as the show goes off the air !

Just 24 hours after WWF Summer Slam 1992, the professional wrestling industry is rocked by the news that WWF World champion Sid Vicious has left the WWF ... Sid dominated the WWF and remained undefeated throughout his WWF tenure ... Following Sid's departure, the WWF World title is now vacant. Therefore, WWF President Jack Tunney has announced that a one-night tournament will be held to crown the new WWF World champion at the upcoming WWF Saturday Night's Main Event 31 show, which will take place in Washington, DC on October 27 and air live on pay-per-view .. The participants are : WWF IC champion Randy Savage, WWF Million Dollar champion Shawn Michaels, Mr. Perfect, Bret Hart, Ric Flair, The Undertaker (w/ Paul Bearer), The Ultimate Warrior and Ted DiBiase (w/ Sensational Sherri) .... Also on this show, Roddy Piper will face The Mountie (w/ Jimmy Hart) plus The British Bulldog will clash with Earthquake (w/ Harvey Wippleman) and The Samoan SWAT Team (w/ Afa) will go up against Sgt. Slaughter and Jim Duggan (accompanied by their ally The Big Bossman).

As previously reported, the final moments of WWF Summer Slam saw the shocking betrayal of Mr. Perfect at the expense of Ric Flair. .... In an interview with Vince McMahon just days following WWF Summer Slam, Mr. Perfect revealed that he grew tired of Ric Flair's ego in recent months and decided to “break free” ….In the meantime, Bobby Heenan has stated that he is no longer associated with neither Mr. Perfect nor Ric Flair since their abrupt split at WWF Summer Slam.

In early September, Hawk left the WWF. This marked the end of the Road Warriors tag team. Since then, his now former tag team partner Animal competes in the singles division with manager Paul Ellering by his side.

In mid-September, Haku left the WWF and Skinner was released.

In late September, Terry Taylor returned to the WWF after almost 2 years and a half. He is now known as "Terrific" Terry Taylor.

In early October, following a string of losses, The Nasty Boys blamed and sacked their manager Jimmy Hart during an interview conducted by Gorilla Monsoon .... Also in early October, Kato left the WWF and his manager Mr. Fuji unveiled Bam Bam Bigelow as his new client and protégé. Bigelow has thus returned to the WWF following a 4-year long absence .... Around the same time, Marry Jannetty returned to the WWF after 7 months.

In mid-October, WWF President Jack Tunney Has ruled that WWF IC champion Randy Savage will square off The Ultimate Warrior to settle their differences with the WWF IC title on the line at WWF Survivor Series Showdown 1992 in Springfield, IL. This show will air on TV on November 22 ... Plus, on the same show, a 15-man Battle Royal will take place. The participants are : WWF Million Dollar champion Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Earthquake (w/ Harvey Wippleman), The Mountie (w/ Jimmy Hart), Roddy Piper, Scott Hall, Crush, The British Bulldog, Rick Martel, The Big Bossman, Sgt. Slaughter, Animal (w/ Paul Ellering), Bam Bam Bigelow (w/ Mr. Fuji), Terry Taylor and Jim Duggan. The winner will earn a shot at the WWF IC title and will face current champion Randy Savage or The Ultimate Warrior at WWF Survivor Series 1992 in Richfield, OH on November 25 ... The Samoans' ferocious approach was overwhelming despite Slaughter's and Duggan’s strength and determination …. After the bout, both teams are attacked by THE NASTY BOYS ! A huge brawl erupts among all 3 teams, then The Big Bossman and a dozen security staff members intervene and restore some order !


WWF WORLD TITLE TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND MATCH =
SHAWN MICHAELS def. THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR by Disqualification …. This bout was all about back and forth action … Michaels’ quickness, cheating ways and stamina eventually frustrated the Warrior, who snapped at the 16th minute mark by hitting his opponent with a steel chair.

MR. PERFECT def. BRET HART by pinfall …. This match will certainly be remembered as a true classic between two of the best technical wrestlers of this era …. Both competitors showed amazing skills, sheer athleticism and true grit.

The Undertaker then decided to leave the ring to save Bearer and was counted out by referee Danny Davis while Randy Savage looked on from the ring … Before the abrupt end, the bout was a wild and intense brawl.

RIC FLAIR def. TED DIBIASE (w/ Sensational Sherri) by submission .... This bout featured two masters of the squared circle .... DiBiase dominated through his vast repertoire of technical moves and Sherri’s cheating assistance from ringside. However, Flair’s endurance and resilience were enough to eventually prevail using his merciless Figure Four Leglock, injuring DiBiase's right knee in the process .... After the match, while Sherri attends to a hurt DiBiase in the ring, Flair leaves triumphant but is suddenly confronted by a menacing VIRGIL on the ramp . A fight breaks out, Flair gets the upper hand and then quickly finds his way out through the cheering fans in attendance, leaving DiBiase, Sherri and Virgil fuming.

EARTHQUAKE (w/ Harvey Wippleman) def. THE BRITISH BULLDOG by pinfall … The Bulldog was relentless from the get-go and very aggressive, but Earthquake’s power gradually overwhelmed the Bulldog as the bout progressed …. After the match, Earthquake attempts to injure the Bulldog, but THE NEW FOUNDATION tag team rushes to the ring and makes the save.

MR. PERFECT def. SHAWN MICHAELS by pinfall … Both competitors were quick, aggressive and showed off a variety of skills …. Mr. Perfect won by suddenly catching Michaels off guard and applying his legendary Perfect Plex finishing move … After the match, RIC FLAIR shows up and tries to attack his bitter rival Mr. Perfect, but the security staff in attendance prevent any physical altercation just in time.

THE HIGHLIGHTS :


WWF interviewer Gene Okerlund welcomes the fans in attendance and introduces RIC FLAIR and his nemesis MR. PERFECT for a face to face interview in the ring, but they do not show up ! Shortly thereafter, the giant screen in the arena captures some unexpected footage showing Flair and Mr. Perfect viciously brawling in the locker room ! The fight then continues in the parking lot until the cameras suddenly fade to black.


WWF WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES MATCH =
TED DIBIASE & VIRGIL (w/ Sensational Sherri) vs. THE NEW FOUNDATION ends in a No Contest due to THE NASTY BOYS interrupting the bout and attacking both teams ! … DiBiase and Virgil retain the WWF World tag team titles … The match itself was quite entertaining and fast-paced with neither team prevailing over the other.


GRUDGE MATCH =
THE UNDERTAKER (w/ Paul Bearer) def. DAMIEN DEMENTO (w/ Papa Shango) by pinfall ….. Demento dominated most of the bout through sheer violence and a sadistic approach. Moreover, Papa Shango’s “spiritual” support and guidance from ringside were influential. However, Undertaker slowly but surely overcame the odds and managed to pin Demento with the devastating Tombstone Piledriver … After the match, the lights suddenly go out for a few seconds .., When the lights are turned back on. Damien Demento and Papa Shango are nowhere to be found. They have disappeared ! …. Undertaker and his manager Paul Bearer are alone until their archrival JAKE ROBERTS appears from beneath the ring and attacks them from behind. Bearer is knocked out and flat on the mat while Undertaker tries to strike Roberts but misses ! Then, Roberts delivers 3 consecutive and thunderous DDT’s before leaving while shouting at the booing fans in attendance : “I’m back !” … This marks the WWF return of Jake Roberts after almost 8 months.


... During a short break, THE SAMOAN SWAT TEAM (w/ Afa) are seen menacingly roaming the backstage area. The wild and dangerous trio then run into THE DESTRUCTION CREW (w/ The Genius), who seem intimidated ... Both teams have a brief stare down until The Genius tells his men to back off and leave.

RANDY SAVAGE def. THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR by pinfall and retains the WWF IC title …. Both competitors were quick, ruthless and intense throughout the bout. Savage eventually prevailed thus ending the bitter feud in his favor once and for all.

Despite still being the undefeated WWF World tag team champions since WWF Summer Slam 1992, Ted DiBiase and Virgil have fired manager Sensational Sherri following their recent disappointing showings at WWF Saturday Night’s Main Event 31 and WWF Survivor Series Showdown 1992, as previously reported. … Following her dismissal, Sherri has snapped with rage and promised she will avenge herself at the expense of DiBiase and Virgil.

Shawn Michaels has relinquished the WWF Million Dollar title belt by selling it to the original owner, Ted DiBiase ! Following this unexpected turn of events, WWF President Jack Tunney has ruled that DiBiase cannot keep it. Therefore, the WWF Million Dollar title is now vacant and a one-night tournament to crown the next WWF Million Dollar champion will be held at the upcoming WWF Survivor Series 1992 show. The participants are Marty Jannetty, Crush, The Mountie (w/ Jimmy Hart) and Terry Taylor.

WWF Survivor Series 1992 in Richfield, OH is upon us. The main event will be the much-anticipated clash between freshly crowned WWF World champion Mr. Perfect and his archrival Ric Flair in a 2 out of 3 falls match in a steel cage for the WWF World title. .... Also on the card, WWF IC champion Randy Savage will face Roddy Piper (who earned this opportunity by winning the 15-man Battle Royal at the recently reported WWF Survivor Series Showdown spectacle). Plus, WWF World tag team champions Ted DiBiase and Virgil will defend against the Nasty Boys, while bitter rivals Jake Roberts and The Undertaker (w/ Paul Bearer) will go to war in a potentially lethal and explosive grudge match. The Million Dollar tournament to crown a new Million Dollar champion will also take place. The tournament matches and the rest of the card will be revealed in real time during the show itself.

THE MOUNTIE (w/ Jimmy Hart) def. CRUSH by pinfall … Crush was in control for most of the bout. However, The Mountie was resilient and shrewd enough to score the win through Jimmy Hart’s help from ringside.


…. During a short break, WWF interviewer Gene Okerlund is frantic and in the backstage area as he witnesses a huge brawl involving THE SAMOAN SWAT TEAM (w/ Afa), SGT. SLAUGHTER, THE BIG BOSSMAN and JIM DUGGAN as well as THE DESTRUCTION CREW (w/ The Genius) ! According to Okerlund, the fight broke out over the Thanksgiving buffet which is on hand in the backstage area !

BAM BAM BIGELOW (w/ Mr. Fuji) def. ANIMAL (w/ Paul Ellering) … This was a true clash of titans with neither competitors giving an inch. Bigelow prevailed in the end.

THE MOUNTIE (w/ Jimmy Hart) def. MARTY JANNETTY by pinfall and is crowned new WWF Million Dollar champion …. The Mountie successfully fended off and tamed Jannetty’s quick moves and aerial skills through patience, grit and a bit of luck

THE NASTY BOYS def. TED DIBIASE & VIRGIL as Brian Knobbs pins Virgil following SENSATIONAL SHERRI’s surprise appearance and interference in favor of the Nasty Boys, who are now the new WWF World tag team champions ! …. After the bout, Sherri grabs the mic from ring announcer Howard Finkel and announces that she is the new manager of The Nasty Boys and will be known as NASTY SHERRI from now on !


SURVIVOR SERIES ELIMINATION MATCH =
BRET HART, JIM NEIDHART, OWEN HART & THE BRITISH BULLDOG def. SHAWN MICHAELS, SCOTT HALL, RICK MARTEL & EARTHQUAKE (w/ Harvey Wippleman) when Bret Hart pinned Scott Hall …. During the bout, at the 13th minute mark, Shawn Michaels suddenly left and walked out on his team telling the nearby cameraman : "I am too good for this !" .... The match was very entertaining and fast-paced … Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart were the sole survivors in the end.


GRUDGE MATCH =
JAKE ROBERTS def. THE UNDERTAKER (w/ Paul Bearer) by pinfall … This bout was filled with sheer violence, ring psychology and thrilling suspense …. Before the conclusion, Roberts survived Undertaker’s vicious Tombstone Piledriver and then managed to apply his legendary DDT finishing move to pin his hated nemesis.


WWF IC TITLE MATCH =
RODDY PIPER def. RANDY SAVAGE by pinfall to become the new WWF IC champion following a wild and violent brawl …. During the match, Savage was able to break Piper’s lethal Sleeper Hold, but was later pinned when briefly caught off guard.


WWF WORLD TITLE CAGE MATCH / 2 OUT OF 3 FALLS MATCH =
RIC FLAIR def. MR. PERFECT 2 falls to 1 and captured the WWF World title at the end of a five star match filled with supreme technical wrestling skills, pure intensity, impressive stamina and sheer athleticism shown by both competitors … Flair won the first fall when Mr. Perfect succumbed to the unforgiving Figure Four Leglock submission finisher … Mr. Perfect then won the second fall by applying his immaculate Perfect Plex … Flair made it 2 to 1 by successfully leaving the cage after a masked individual entered the ring and distracted referee Earl Hebner and Mr. Perfect .... After the bout, the masked mystery man quickly leaves the ring and is chased by a furious Mr. Perfect while Ric Flair celebrates as the show goes off the air.
