For the record, @Blaze , I forgot to mention this to you last night, but Drake Maverick is the reason why Drew Gulak became serious once he became the GM of 205 Live. Before Maverick showed up, Gulak was mostly used as a comic-relief character and they didn't showcase his wrestling ability much (since they were using him as a comic prop/lackey for Enzo). Maverick called out Gulak for being a joke, which pissed him off; so Gulak ended up becoming a serious heel who was able to showcase his wrestling in the ring from then on. He stopped wearing the ridiculous suits and he stopped doing his fun PowerPoint presentations (back when he was being used as comic-relief in late-2017 through early 2018). Gulak eventually started coming out wearing his wrestling robe too and he actually began wrestling longer competitive matches too, so yea, Maverick is a big reason why you started seeing Gulak the serious wrestling competitor

If I had to guess, it will go to AJ Styles. I assume he will be Nakamura and then Elias and advance to the finals and then the Yoshi Tatsu leg holder would be IC champ as well

One thing I found: if a "title" enters Japan and finds itself in the hands of a champ, it rarely ever moves thanks to Japanese champions' tendency to have their only singles matches be defenses

Bryan and Gulak was fun, Corbin and Elias wasn’t bad either even though it went on a tad too long.

I hope it’s either Sheamus or AJ that wins this tournament but I’d be okay with anyone, maybe not Shinsuke though.
