I thought he didnt get in wwe because he was down in Memphis wrestling when Lawler fell out with wwe and then wre no longer a development territory and Danielson was unluckily caught up in it. Then again things worked out for him in the indy's

you should know that I've heard rumors that WWE & ROH have or are working to establish a working agreement simalar to what the WWE had with ECW back in the day. Its actually believed that just as the WWE tried to help ECW stay a float back in the day for exchange of being able to off load talent they didn't have a use for but were under contract (ie Justin Credible) a simalar deal may be in the works that could see top ROH guys get tryouts and tv time in WWE and Lowcard WWE guys get some more ring time exposure in ROH. Now what is involved in the deal is merly speculation on my part. But I wouldn't be suprised if a WWE/ROH agreement is announced in the near future.

^^^If it gets Chris Hero to WWE, I'm all for it.

yeah, there's so many guys on the ROH Roster who have such good credentials to be in WWE. I would've liked to see Claudio in WWE, but he got released, which kept him in the indies.

Danielson could be a good fit in WWE. He might not have the size and might look a lot like Bob Backlund, but he's just too good of a character to pass on.

I agree with what This Guy said about having the ECW/WWF deal with ROH. It really would help the WWE and wrestling in general more than it would hurt it, even if it's just acknowledging where guys came from on TV.

In my opinion, its quite obvious, WWE and Ring Of Honor has had a working relationship for a while now. Anyone remember CM Punk being signed to WWE, while holding the Ring Of Honor title? What about James Gibson being under a WWE contract, while continuing to defend his ROH world title. Spanky? Matt Hardy? Hell, Matt Hardy cut an ROH promo putting WWE down, went on Raw, and clearly yelled the words "ROH" on the mic, during the Edge/Hardy feud. I've always had my suspicions, but now its pretty much clear in my eyes.

Edit: James Gibson is Jamie Noble for those who don't know...

ummm the ROHbots, my self included, would absolutely hate the even thought of a working relationship between ROH and WWE. they are polar opposites, and they should stay that way...if this is announced, which i seriously doubt is the case since Gabe is smarter than that to turn his back on his audience like this, than a lot of fans will leave ROH.

- There is currently no deal in place between Bryan Danielson and WWE, reports prowrestling.NET, however, that could change at any time. Danielson is scheduled to work some shows in Mexico this week as well as some shows in Europe soon before returning to Ring of Honor at the end of the month. Danielson, who is under contract to Ring of Honor, received permission from the organization to work the WWE show. Should WWE offer Danielson a deal, most people believe that ROH would let him out of his contract with them.

Danielson was close to be offered a deal with WWE two years ago, but Vince McMahon and Johnny Ace put up a 6-2 height requirement and the deal was off the table. The height requirement doesn't exist anymore as WWE has since signed wrestlers shorter than that height, Matt Sydal being a prime example as he is 5-7. However, one inside source expressed concern that the creative team wouldn't know how to use him the best of his advantage. "He's a hell of a mechanic and he would have gotten over fine," one WWE source said. "I'm not sure in today's environment." On another note, William Regal has been high on Danielson and other ROH wrestlers for quite some time. "If Regal had any stroke, Bryan Danielson and a lot of guys would have been signed a while ago," one WWE source said. "He's a good mentor, though. He gives golden advice."

I really hope WWE does sign Danielson, then all of the WWE Sheep who talk about how "bland" he is will suddenly start to love him...

Agreed :y:

Matt Sydal was an indy spot monkey not too long ago, now he's Evan Bourne, a great young versatile wrestler, with a bright future

I really do want Danielson to sign with WWE. I'm not a "huge" WWE fan, and I'm probably one of the biggest ROH fans here, but I love watching guys like Punk and Sydal succeed in the business. Danielson signing with a major would be a great look.

If Danielson is signed, it could be a blessing or a curse for various people.

The thing is, if WWE does sign him, then theyre going to have to give him time out there in the ring. I have no doubt that Danielson could work some phenominal matches with some current WWE guys (some new, fresh matchups for sure), but Danielson is like wine in the ring, he gets better the longer the match goes. Also, Danielson is one of those guys who doesn't always need a mic in his hand to tell a story, many of his stories are told in the ring, during the match, so ample time must be given to make that happen. Regardless of what happens, he's one of the best in the world right now, and if WWE is up to the task of playing it right with him, I would like to see him get a run in WWE. Long term, I think he belongs in ROH and Japan, but a WWE run for a year or two doesn't hurt things one bit.
