- WWE officials had discussed a Ryback vs. Big Show feud but those talks have apparently been dropped.

Glad that it is nixed. Personally this would be a horrible match, a boring one probably as Ryback is not a beast against giants. We saw when he failed to lift Tensai. And now it is the Big Show, 500 pounds. Also script would be to simple and lame, who is stronger? Who is bigger and better etc.

If that was the feud, and how they progressed the story, it could have built up Mark Henry's return, Ryback/Henry is a match I would be interested in watching.

Meltzer was talking about a Ryback/Jericho feud after the Rumble, but that's not happening either, as we're going to be seeing Dolph/Jericho.

I don't see how a two week old rumor reportedly being "cancelled" is news. That's like me coming in and saying Jericho vs. Undertaker vs. HHH has been cancelled.

Yeah, not really interested in Ryback slamming Big Show and everyone acting like it's never been done before.

I wasn't keen on Big Show vs. Ryback but I think it's much more interesting then Jericho/Ryback...

I am the same, not really bothered either way with this. I wonder who WWE do have planned for Ryback at WM and beyond because there aren't too many options being presented at the moment.

Ryback vs whoever holds no particular appeal...

The only guy I'd be interested to see him fued with is Cena, just out of curiosity to see how the booking went.

I pray they don't waste a Brock fued on him though!

Ryback: always the bridesmaid, never the bride. Seriously, is the guy ever going to win a big match?

His time will come eventually, it has just been poor timing for him until now. Punk was in the middle of that record breaking title reign so they weren't going to stop that reign in order to give Ryback the big win. Also with The Rock being back it means that there is one less top heel around for him to feud with so he is stuck a bit until they can find a new opponent for him. I can see WWE giving him a shot as champion later in the year just to see how he goes.

Looking into my crystal ball:

Turn heel, fued with Cena after WM, then draft to SD for a 'test' run as WHC...

I only ever see Ryback as a WHC, his character is just so boring. This guy needs a few months in a feud with one guy on SD where they can actually talk trash.

Ryback did not fail to lift Tensai, Tensai sandbagged him anyone can clearly see that he had no problem doing shellshock with him anyother time and I'm sure he would have no problem with Show who would put the guy over like a true pro.
