Mine:

- Tim Burton (can do no wrong, and if you say Pee Wee's Big Adventure, I CAN'T HEAR YOUUUUU...!!!)
- Danny Boyle
- F. F. Coppolla
- Kevin Smith

These are the ones I go out of my way to see movies by.

Ok I will say Mars Attacks then lol. Have you seen Dark Shadows yet? That got a bit of a critical kicking.

Have been a Burton fans over the years, but recently he has become lazy and inconsistant. Doubt he will ever repeat the greatness of Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood, Beetle Juice etc.

Haven't seen Dark Shadows, missed it at our local cinema here. But do want to see it.

Only movie of his I've seen and not liked was Pee-Wee's Big Adventure.

-Tim Burton
-Stephen King (not bad)
-Frank Coraci
-Gore Verbinski

Tim Burton has got to be my favourite actor though, the man has directed amazing movies, such as the ones Keith said and he has even directed some decent movies such as Alice in Wonderland, like Keith said, he has become lazy and inconsistant.

-David Lynch
-Darren Aronofsky
-Christopher Nolan
-Stanley Kubrick

I admittedly haven't seen all of Kubrick's work, but I'm working on it. Absolutely love Lynch but yet to see Blue Velvet (it's at the top of my list though haha).

Quentin Tarantino is by far my favorite thus far. The man can do no wrong by me. I also really like Kevin Smith. Matthew Vaughn has done great thus far. Edgar Wrightt has made nothing but fantastic movies. Darren Aronofsky is kind of hit and miss with me. I haven't seen pi but I liked requiem. Didn't like the fountain but liked the wrestler and I didn't like Black Swan. I've actually never seen a Martin Scorsese movie either.

Nice list. I am a big fan of both Nolan and Aronofsky and as I said before Lynch is a legend. Kubrick I found to be more inconsistant. When he was on his game he did some true masterpieces such as A Clock Work Orange, Dr Strange Love and Full Metal Jacket, however there were some duds as well like The Shining (one of the most overated films ever, it is more funny than scary), Eyes Wide Shut and 2001 which was an interestingv experment but was quite dull and doesn't hold together as a complete whole.

Fincher, Tarantino, Nolan. I've literally go out of my way to see one of their movies. But I don't really know many directors, I just watch movies. :)
